I had a dream... that my outdoor grow got jacked.. it woke me right up.
it should be fine... it probably just needs a few more weeks.
maybe until our first fall rainclouds begin to form. I hate bud-rot.
I'm just wondering if that bad dream theme will be recurring meanwhile.
but I'd guess I'm not the only one around here who gets those during this time of year.
and/or wonder every day if they're gonna push their luck too far,
it's pretty tempting to harvest early, although they'll probably double in size..
or else risk losing it all trying to finish them properly.
a few of my friends have had their grows jacked in recent years.

I know it ain't much, but my backyard is highly visible through the fences on 3 sides.
earlier this year I noticed a volunteer tree had sprouted right up in the middle...
and my wife asked if I was gonna chop it down..
I said "No way... I like it right where it's at."
so I just took a few branches off the south side...
and tied a few plants to the trunk,
which were all but dead in the closet due to the heatwaves.
they're even partially shielded from those pesky pork-choppers in the sky.
so I suppose there ain't no need for a Sizzlean screen to block the nosy pigs vision...
as it's a fairly tight shot in-between the house and the trees.

it should be good for a few ounces if nothing goes wrong.
at least it's easy for me to check on when I wake up...
and I usually sit next to the open window right above it all night.
I can often hear it when stray cats climb over the fence, or explore the yard.
and my cats do too... they act more like watchdogs than cats.
besides the area is kinda booby-trapped...
if anyone tried to get at it in the dark,
the sound I'd hear, would probably be of someone breaking their leg.

i was drying a ton of weeds in the attic of this house i was sitting AND

pulling me shit out of the hills behind the park down the street

one was walking 20' stalks across the the road in front of the popo
good thing i look like a gardner

you come up nearly screaming

and sometimes you find yourself

50 feet down the road from where you was sleeping and the notion took up

i got scars from dreamin

im having a few friends who guard their crop, even in their garden

some put a electronic fence around to taser unwanted assholes, the same guy also put up an automatic shooting weapon triggered by a movement sensor ... a scenario like at the mexican border lol

just be seen everyday in your garden, that should keep burglars off

ive been lucky in that sense,

ive had 14 females in flowers and have had kids coming into my garden looking for there cricket ball or football on many occasions, even had workmen coming in and building a brick shed house for next door neighbors and only 15 feet away from the plants and know one has ever said anything, dunno whether they never realized it was cannabis or they just didn't see it even in plain sight.. had one of my neighbours a few houses down chat to me a few summers ago and said wow i can smell weed in the air, not realizing i was growing 15 plants in my garden, i told him yeah i can smell weed to someone must be smoking some good shit..

There was another time were i had around the same amount of plants in pre-flower in the garden, and i contracted a business to put of scaffolding poles on to the side of my house to bring down the chimney so i could remove the inner chimney flu to extended the living room, one of the guys walked past the huge cannabis plants all day long and didnt even give it a second look and the scaffolding was on my roof for about 10 days and when i made them tea they would sit in my garden and drink it and not realizing the 15 plants in a row just 10 feet away from them.......

Nice looking garden munchy. if I was to rip off some budz, yers would be my first choice

well the Bleu Cheese started finishing up early...
I figured it wasn't going to gain any more weight..
but a few more days of ripening could actually hurt.
it's super sticky, but it was starting to get some mites and other tiny critters.

that is cool how that tree grew in and broke up the visual obviousness

totally. the BC weighed in at 24 grams.
it's only a rough trim for now... just beginning to cure.. still on the dry side.

I've been waiting since last week for my day off, today.
I was sure I was going to harvest these.
I had another one of those dreams, not such vivid recall though.
the weather report said there would be thundershowers tomorrow morning,
but then it got downgraded to only a 10% chance..
now it says a 10% chance tonight... it was looking a bit hazy..
and then another 10% chance on sunday, and 20% next weds.
but when I took a close look at the buds.. they still have plenty of white hairs.
I really had to talk myself out of it still... and it wasn't easy.
posting this thread might have actually made a difference...
so I suppose might give em another week... they'll probably be fine.

That dream is a lot more scary if you actually have had plants stolen. Had 6 trees stolen in floriduh. They were way out in the middle of nowhere.

However I had two growsites. Got close to 5 pounds off the plants that didn't get ripped.

The site that got ripped was behind the Deltona housing development in St. Augustine. Way behind and close to the intercostal.

The site that didn't get ripped was about a mile from the St.Augustine airport. Also way out in the woods. The pot was good but not great.

The year was 1979. I took a couple pounds of the pot and headed north in my vw.

Never returned to Florida and left the rest if the pot for my room mate.
Spent a lot of time . setting up those growsites.

weather update:

we just got a break

on Sunday evening, the weather turned really weird...
some nasty storm clouds were coming in from the east with lightning & thunder,
so after getting off work, I went out and harvested them in the dark.
the space crush had a few little spots of rot just beginning to happen.
so I got em out just barely in time, and I'm glad I didn't wait another day.
I got em trimmed & dried, and it's all real sparkly.
weighing in at 42g & 46g, along with the BC, gives me an exact QP.
which was pretty good considering the state of the plants & when they were put outside.
it's more bud than I've seen in awhile... should last me a few months.
