Hi.

We dont have a section for flowers, and i like growing them and looking at them, so please post up your flower pics

ill start it off

sunflowers, some poppies

ornamental grass and dwarf sweet pea

hibiscus ( sharon rose)

its been raining every other day in UK, we have not even had a summer yet, and its almost over.. it was warm for one week in june and we had commercials on the tv warning us off skin cancer and and the temps didn't even get over 28c.. lol

Well I'm glad someone's got some rain, we're getting our first in something like six weeks- and I live in a rain forest. Garden seems none the worse for it, nice!

Been the same way here this summer and last. No sunspots. Prepare for at least a decade of pretty cold winters.

My tomatoes are hating it.

anyone remember the passion flower seeds i germinated on PG.

i potted it outdoors and now is climbing a trellis made out of twine, they dont flower from seed in the first season so ill have to wait for the next season

i left my last camera on the train coming back from work, needless to say no one handed it back in.. so i borrowed my brothers pentax camera, 2 weeks ago, i was really stoned out of my head and was wandering around in the garden barefoot with my camera, just taking random shots, so i was taking some pics of the tomatoes flowers and the camera slipped out of my hand and landed in a bucket of rainwater, i took it out real quick and took the battery out and left the camera on the radiator for one whole week and it started working again

but its just not the same, sometimes the shutter doesn't open up whole, last time i was taking lots of pics in the garden and didn't realize the shutter was half shut, so i have to manually check the shutter every time i start the camera,,,,,,, am gonna get a new one soon

Just wanted to say good to see you Dill My Brother

I love the poppy pods, I had a bumper crop this year in one of my gardens here looked like it was in Afghanistan

needless to say it was a real stony summer

Lupins gave me my first experience of the dreaded Mites.

Did ya ever get spider mites on em?
