The whole point of this existence ( defined as the field of opposites by Campbell ) is that you are not suppose to understand your opposite. However your opposite is suppose to help you understand yourself.

This is where science screws up in attempting to know everything.

If you knew everything you wouldn't be a human being.

Ignoring the false premise that science (natural philosophy?) goal is to know everything.
More often then not it is used for problem solving. Knowledge is an artifact.

If you knew everything you wouldn't be a human being.
If you didn’t have the intrinsic curiosity to understand the world you live in, you wouldn't be sentient … or maybe a republican.

Implicit in the science crowds idea that there is no God is the idea that science knows everything.

And trying to label science as natural philosophy is about as biased a statement as you can make.

When I say science I mean the scientific method.
When I say science types I would mean those that use the scientific method.

What do you mean when you say “science” and “science crowds”?
Please look the SM up, and natural philosophy while yer at it; which is the godfather of modern science, which I mean the scientific method.

From the goat herder trying to keep his goats from getting out of the pen ..

Check if they’re jumping, test by raising the fence, no then
Maybe they are squeezing through the fence, try adding more wood, no then
Get lucky and see the dog is opening the gate to get to the goat’s water.
Try giving the dog her own water bowl, Success; and learned something on the way.

...To growing better pot.
All are part of the science crowd by definition.

Which is a good thing, with is so few of 'em left, sycamores that is; given the paving over 'em for parking lots and swingin' hot spots.
