but I even dress that up with a little pumpkin pie spice,
strawberry jam and whipped cream.
Gizmo may have her eye on the french toast,
but she really wants the whipped cream.
I always let her lick the cup after I'm done.

nah, I don't think it's better than bud porn...
I would even be more proud of root porn, if I grew roots that were worthy.
But I like the fact that this site has a kitchen forum.
Although none of these dishes included cannabis,
it would be easy enough to do,
simply by using cannabutter to cook it with, in most cases.
But I know a lot of people who can't cook anything without using a microwave.
Personally I hate how things come out of a microwave all rubbery...
and I'd rather wait 15-20 minutes to get that nice crispy texture.
The trick is cooking things to finish up together,
which all call for different temperatures and durations.
So I figured out how long things take at a median temp,
and then stagger loading them into the oven.
But I've been taking these pics of my dinners for months, and just felt like sharing.
since there wasn't shit on tv, and I've finished watching everything on my pc for now.
soon I'll be too busy harvesting & resetting the garden,
but that didn't require much attention last night either.
I also have a couple sets of pics from behind the scenes, that I may post someday.
btw, the only part my wife cooked was the teriyaki beef & rice.
edit: upon further review, she had also pre-cooked the roast beef, turkey, chicken,
and sometimes the bacon too.
but the rest was all me, while she's always asleep at that hour.
You see, I only eat one actual meal a day, around midnight,
shortly after work and smokin a bowl...
so the point being that when it's that time, I don't mess around.
It doesn't really take that long to cook, since most of it comes frozen,
sometimes only 20 minutes, other days maybe 30 or 40.
Long enough to chill a beer to the point just shy of being undrinkable...
you know it's perfect when the outside of the bottle gets all frosty when opened,
and when you can feel the ice crystals in the first few sips.
thanks to Mythbusters for teaching me not to bang the bottles on the counter too hard...
that little transfer of energy is what used to always cause them to erupt.
btw, thanks for that black & tan spoon vid...
I didn't know the ratio was 1 part black to 2 parts tan,
but the 24oz 1:1 was certainly making me fat as it was,
and I guess I should try holding the spoon upside down,
but bending one up like that could be like the last thing I ever do.
but no, I don't ever do anything the simplest way...
my wife used to hate it whenever she'd offer to make me a sammich..
and I'd always want my bread toasted and my cheese melted.
I'd rather just make it myself, then to settle for half-assed.
I always have to include every step or ingredient I can to make it special.
The part that really takes awhile was setting up all the pix,
and I'm sure typing up the descriptions will as well.
But my IBS keeps me from eating more meals per day,
as the only way I can possibly go to work for several hours each day, is hungry.
Whenever anyone offers me food, I always refuse.
Often within 2 hours of eating anything, it starts to hurt,
but there's no chance of relief until after giving it several more hours to fully digest,
like while I'm asleep.
so I keep my pain on a schedule... for when I can just relax and smoke myself silly.
hunger is my friend... it feels better than the alternative,
and it always fades away after a little bit.
But unfortunately, straight up starving just isn't an option.
Plus I get these cravings... like when I see burgers on tv commercials...
but I NEVER EVER go to any of those fast food places,
in fact I hardly never get to eat out at all...
and I sure as hell don't simply order a pizza like most folks do.
I can make my own burgers and pizzas way better at home,
than what most of those places have to offer.
especially since I don't even trust the kids that work there to wash their hands...
much less than to make the food as if they actually cared.
& btw, I hate to wash dishes, which is why I always use paper plates and plastic utensils.
Except that I often dirty up a skillet, but usually I have to wash that first anyway.
