Don't think much of the decoration.

Maybe some nice flock wallpaper and a little mood lighting?

1 Cubic Yard = 27 Cubic Feet.....I filled a 24 cubic foot hole today....A 100 gallon smart pot is 13.1 cubic feet....I guess that would be a good rule of thumb for people who get an early start on things and have full sun and no height or space limitations

Most folks just fill their raised beds with dirt, leaving everything below as is. I wuz readin up on strawberries, which I figger'd were shallow rooters, & found out that after 4 years their roots will go down 4'...the first 2' bein heavily rooted. So I dug my raised beds down a bit...:)...

you mean water sat in it post excavation.

ya,
mabe,

id say that looks more like a line of demarations in subsurface structure; as opposed to water influence...

dug some post holes which ran down into a weak sandstone recently...

went 30 inches from them, and uncovered tiger stripes in the striation of whatever i was digging through...

was a shame to fill them in

Hehehehe....no, is compacted from me standin in it diggin.:p The location is an old gravel driveway. I dug down thru all the gravel, down to the sandy loam below it. The bottom got roughed up before I started fillin it with leaves, compost, & dirt (after siftin the gravel out).:)

but youd sure make a concrete foundation contractor proud, digging square bottomed holes...
thats the secret, the key to getting footings to preform correctly...

You have to start somewhere so don't attempt everything at once kids.

Remember 1 step at a time.

1. Buy a good shovel.

2. Dig the grave before you kill your great Aunt for her insurance money

3. Don't spend all your money in one place.

And all them whores and bitches? Wait till you get out in the desert and they start losing their high heels. and whimper my lips are chapped.

Chap stick

military shovel

oops sorry wrong thread .. is this the how to make your ex wife shut up fer good thread? or uh.

and employer tells me this story of once
he tells labor to find this pipe

then about 8pm he gets a call from the homeowner

their still out there digging

rolls out,
theyd missed the pipe by 6 inches
and they had dug 6 feet down past it at this point

drug out work lights
hole so deep it needed a ladder

the kinda shit gets you on the news when you get killed by a hole you dug

watched a guy climb out of a baby hole as id called it

minutes later
one side collapsed

I need a pot larger than 24 inches, but without the 'give' of a bag.
Something that shipping won't kill me.
Any suggestions?

I've popped tires on dollys moving this bitch.
I tried a plastic barrel and it was too short.

I've cut off excess roots with a bread knife and still need something bigger than 2 ft...and taller than a whiskey barrel.
It's got moss and a fern....
What are the odds of finding a potter close?
