years ago i had a machine shop make me a tool.
it is a 4 piece hash press. i needed to make a few
pucks as i call them today.many have wanted to see this.
so mostly when i use it it's in winter. the press must be cold
if not cold it sticks bad. so
1st photo is the press put together.
1.jpg
2nd is it apart.
2.jpg
3rd is 7 grams of kief.
3.jpg
4th is press filled.
4.jpg
5th is press in a vice cinch it up tight wait a min and cinch
it up tight again. wait a min or two and loosen.
5.jpg
6th is puck pushed out of press.
6.jpg
7th is a puck.
7.jpg
8th is press and pucks i made today.
8.jpg
9th is pucks i made today.
9.jpg
10th is pucks i have made before and slab's of hash.
10.jpg
ok a puck is 7 grams is little bigger around than a half dollar
and about 1/4" thick some are thicker/thinner. most important
thing is to freeze the press.melty hash in press is like glue if
it's warm!!! plus sounds cooler cold pressed hash :dreamon:

slick kit there!!!
i made a few rudimentary version of this but never had the kief enough to test and evolve them...

oklahoma just announced that its a felony to MANUFACTURE hash,

punishable by up to life in prison for the first offense...

have you noticed the huge push in america to make it a severe felony to apply weight to kif???

olkahoma says its a an offense worthy of a lifetime sentence for the first occasion

one of my beta testors passed on the freezer trick for removing kif from the silk screens...

i sent my bucket system out to a couple dozen people and got alot of feedback

id seen several folks bubble bags and noticed the haze of kif left behind in the screen fabric,
bubblemans system of stretching and scraping the product off the screens was rudimentary

with the screen detached from the bucket, it was easy to toss into the freezer i learn from the beta testers

in almost less than a minute, the minute amount of water in the kif froze solid and it thus lifted in mass off the screen,

nothing left behind,

no residue

No but I read your thread......I love the raw power of hash but I'm not a big hash smoker anymore....Everyone around here makes water hash now and 90% of the time it isn't very good but it goes for about $100 an ounce so no one is willing to pay $25-40 a gram for some pure full melt clear dome, I use to hear of clubs getting $100 for a gram of FMCD.

well
ya gotta do something with all that trim,

red bandit told me he had to abandon my set to a raid he had to bug out to avoid...

fortunately,
i didnt engrave them,

hehehehehe

i never had access to the plant material enough to do many runs,
never learned how to make full melt out of the kif i made

i always figured that the people making bubble and ice hash,
were using many more screens than the basic bag set came with...

were hyper deliniating their kif,
and then making the kind out of one specific grade of the stuff...

just a hypothisis

that set of presses look rad Lrus007
i made a much more rudimentary set years ago,

never got the oppertunity to use it though

im curious,

what the point of pressing kif into blocks?

ease of handling large amounts???

Have you tried dry sifting with dry ice in bubble bags?
Seen a video of a guy showin the process...he covered a table in dust in no time, fast.

i have thought about that long ago.
but closest place that has dry ice is 80 miles away.
i have also heard of people using a shop vac with
the bubble bags and dry leaf. i vibrate a flat screen
over glass.

how fine did they grind the dry ice before it went into the bag with the trim?

dry ice makers are almost down to appliance size

id think youd get alot more powdered plant material that way,
more crushing than ice and water,

and all the frost, you think it would clog the screen for the whole time

I would try this but with a smaller size bag than the 220.....I've used the 160 and 190 to dry sift and those had to big of holes.

hes said " letting it cool down... getting colder now" in the time period he waited to start the shaking after inverting.

interesting,

he also was talking about watching the color of what shakes out change over the time he was doing it... after he stopped and scraped up two piles he said " you can really see the differnt colors of the different grades"

ya, kept in motion like that i dont think frost would be a problem, he said he started with close to 3 oz of high quality trim,

wonder how dry it was

Now why not put all the bags on and then collect the heads like a water hash cycle would? I think all the plant matter would go through the 220 with all the shaken and frozen dry trim would powder right up and fall through easily

i bought some kif from Amsterdam once.. i got 3 small plastic bottles like test tubes with the kif inside it, but when i was coming back to UK the border police stopped us and found it and confiscated it,, so i have never smoked kif...

Flower rosin is my favorite concentrate.
Hash rosins great but the flower tastes better to me.
I made a setup out of wood framed screens and a sawsall to vibrate it.
Worked pretty well but the feds stole it in 16.........prick fucks.
Keep looking at some tumblers but haven't gone that route yet though I do have some low rpm high torque motors laying about.

lol mine is a large screen made with 2x4's and old niagra
vibrator. then the large piece of glass under it.
man had it forever. but i came up with a machine
so no more flat screening it. also hardly grow anymore
so not as much to run now.
