png files and crashing windows...

i just discovered we can post images like this,
have had to use paint to convert em to mpeg for years now on these site.

but am experiencing a new glich... i click "submit" after the gnp has been uploaded, and the window freezes over... the pointer goes to the hand and stays that way... no escape.

im getting it from posting jpegs too...
aint noticed anyones avatar causing issue...

what funny,
the window crashes,
but i can open and immediate keep surfing the site, and that task manager doesnt show the previous window as not responding...

ya, even single clicks around the site are crashing my ie wondow now...

hahaha!!!!!

it asks me if i want to wait, or restart the program if i left click it in the tray...
i click yes,

but it only refreshes a single window... it doesnt actually shut down the ie program AS other windows stay intact...

fyi,
my computer locked up severely a week ago,
then in the process of simply using the "revert" to an earlier date feature, it erased everything id saved on it for the entire previous year... gone bye bye, without any mention this was about to occur...

its been acting quite spotty every since...

guess its time to throw it away and get another one...

Backup, Format, re-install, spend a day finding all the little MS settings, re-install programs, copy data from back up. Repeat every year or until you feel clean.

Or/And -- I make a backup drive image (on a second hard drive ) every week or major change, if things go a little funny or I don’t like how someone else’s code is behaving, I overwrite from recent backup image. I do this often.
Data is kept on a separate partition and backup is dealt with differently and keeps up the operating system image backups small.

Download the freeware Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and run it ... If it doesn't fix your bugs do a format as Intrinsic suggested .
