Well for the US lots of things, but we have to pay off the debt first, because we are already spending the money we need on interest to float that debt. Just imagine what an extra trillion a year could pay for.

The Grace commission warned of this under Reagan. However cutbacks don't garner votes, spending does. Now what was an ugly mole has grown into an aggressive cancer, with a prognosis of complete collapse. Even with the now required excessive procedure trying to rebalance things, it's likely too late.
Trump and Musk are perhaps buying more time, but once his term is ended, it will be business as usual, the democratic reaction is hard evidence of that occurrence.
