I'm a dog owner and lover, so I'm against dog farming. But mostly because I'm against cruelty to animals, and the countries that farm dogs also treat other animials inhumanely, so maybe I'm just against cruelty full stop.

Yes, it could be argued that I'm a hypocrite: what's the difference between eating a cat and a cow? It comes down to the way they're treated.

But I should also point out, we're talking about eating domesticated pets that have put their trust in humans and are part of people's families. There's a difference between hunting a feral cat or dog and luring a trusting pet to their demise that is going to cause anguish to both it and its owners.

But that's just my opinion.

But I won't wipe it all off, because the first image you posted was, indeed doctored. The giveaway is the blue line at the end.

The second image you posted was not. The difference was in the last line that was deliberately ommitted in the first image:

It means exactly what it says: voluntary. Not compulsory.
