Unmoderated except for TOU and security breaches.

We have reached a tipping point

Post by roller24 »

Years ago I wrote some posts on another site about the political pendulum.
The premise was that the political state of the world is fluid and is a kin to the action of a pendulum and the natural law that for every action, there is a reaction.
While browsing the net to research Secret Service shortcomings of the failed assassination of Trump, I came across a video which made reference that the political pendulum was swinging to the right.
ROBMANESS.COM
America’s War Against Itself - More War Monday | The Rob Maness Show EP 377
The concept that our nation is divided with both sides applying "action" to the political pendulum widening the swings to it's extremes.
At present the pendulum is swinging widely.
Obama Administration claiming to transform the US into the transatlantic open society in pursuance of UN doctine.
This swings back to the rise of Trump who promotes a nationalistic agenda to maintain the US dominance of foreign policy.
Since the 2016 election, we have witnessed the left's attempt to interrupt the counter-force of political reaction to leftist force in an attempt to stop the pendulum's return swing toward's the right and the nationalist agenda.
The 2020 election was the un-natural interruption of the counter swing and the pendulum was forced back to the left.

Now the pendulum is swinging wildly to the extremes. It has reached a tipping point and yesterday was a strong sign that the balance has been lost and we have reached a tipping point.

What a coincidence that I began my day on 7/13/24 by viewing the movie "civil war".

In my opinion, Crooks will perhaps go down in history as the person who fired the first shot.

I see this as a beginning of something tumultuous, and I hope I'm wrong
Looking back, I think we all saw this coming.

Russia and China are laughing all the way to the bank. The only thing that will unite your country is another external war.

1930s, here we come . . .

I agree. Nothing brings an electorate together like a world war.
Hopefully, China will remain neutral. AU is likely on the list of "too close for comfort"
AU proximity geographically and Chinese dependence on your resources makes your country very vulnerable.
If the US descends into civil conflict, the BRICS countries will run over Europe and the Pacific Basin.

Australia would be fucked in a war against China – we are a very attractive target indeed. Huge resources and small population. We have no real way to defend ourselves, either. That's why the government is trying to buy nuclear submarines, to keep China guessing. They say they won't be nuclear equipped, but hey, that's the point – strategic deniability.

I'm not jingoistic by any means, but I wouldn't underestimate the US military. They got caught off-guard in WWII but it didn't take long for the industrial machine to start rolling again. The US still has more strategic oil reserves than China and its military complex is much more advanced than either China or (and especially) Russia – which we can all now see is basically shit. And as a lot of Chinese military technology is based on Russian technology, Chinese equipment is now just as suspect as the tinpot crap Russia has produced.

The rest of Europe could easily tie up Russia while the US fought China. I think we would see something similar to WWII, except Putin wouldn't get anywhere near as far as Hitler. The Europeans have woken up to him and are starting to re-arm as fast as they can. Russia is being ground down in Ukraine every day. If they can't even beat Ukraine, they would have no hope in hell of taking on NATO. And they would need stronger allies than Iran and North Korea to help them. India is not going to fight for Russia against the US – it would likely take advantage to attack China from the other side. It would be a good opportunity for India to create a buffer.

Uhm, we didn’t drop the ball on WWII. Rockefeller knew exactly what he was doing when they provoked Japan into attacking Pearl Harbor.

Remember at the time they had idled the US with the Great Depression while the corporations made hella money supporting the axis.

Again, it’s all a fucking game and informed people refuse to play.

I'm not saying you guys dropped the ball, but you weren't prepared (but neither was the British Commonwealth). As to why that was – especially after "provoking" Japan by cutting off their commodities – well, you probably have a better idea than me. I use parenthesis around "provoking" because let's not forget Japan had annexed Korea and invaded China and was committing attrocities throughout the region. Someone needed to stand up to them.

America will never have another civil war, at best a real short failed revolution.

Americans are soft as fuck….when stores go empty and hospitals, power plants and water treatment plants go unstaffed people will forget about politics real quick.

I mean, you think people are going to be knocking on their neighbors door asking if you claim red or blue….Munchy and wife will be running around the house like Tom and Jerry trying to kill each other.

Get fucking real, talk is so cheap nowadays. Some of the biggest pussies I know are the ones on Facebook calling for civil war.

Standards of living in this country are no where's near a tipping point for the vast majority.
