i cant put my finger on it but there is a NSC paper written as ww2 ended where it was said that america needs to abandon 'american ideals' as it functions in the world.

and to think they had anywhere lower to go in that regard.

nsc 68 is worth noting as it sumarizes our intention to destroy the soviets no matter they were our allies in 2

the afl-cio was instermental in rolling cold war anti-communism into central and south america after we'd overthrown local governance.

and by that they and the chicago school treated ANYONE advocating for decent living and working conditions as communists
