first pistils were showing in about 6 days, with the light at 50%

Rainy Day Buds

i always need some insurance, since cuttings don't always root 100%, and i don't want to lose a strain
so just for an experiment, as i had some extra clones i didn't want to kill,
and the open greenhouse during the rainy springtime off-season Feb-March..
I just wanted to see what would happen.. because I'm such an unhinged motherfucker
wasn't expecting much beyond a slow death... hope it doesn't make anyone cry.
i only watered them a few times, and just fed them with 'seconds' that i'd scraped off the topsoil of my other pots
well the buds were stunted from the start and turned out pretty small, but very dark & purple and surprisingly sparkly
they'll probably be good for a few ounces of 'rainy day' smoke,
in case I'm ever running low, or maybe just want to try it out for shits & giggles..
I've smoked more than 3lbs of my summer greenhouse harvest, a quarter-a-day
and i have about another LB of ThinMint-Jealousy to go still,
as well as a few harvests from the tent having a long cure.
but it's about time to start my next greenhouse experiment, Autos in April-May-June
before re-doing the same 4 photos (TM-J/SS/CP/Oz) out there during July-Aug-Sep
i just need to find time soon to reset my 15-gallon pots and start those seeds
posting about it helps to get motivated.
so i hope this isn't too many pics, as i wouldn't want to trigger anyone and be told to stop it and get help
but there were none of these freaks for the past 6 weeks, and they're about done now.

^this one's not too bad in full-size & full-screen

this sad little Oreoz was the last extra late-rooter,
it might just fill one 2g cone, but that would probably be better than none.

the Cheetah Wins !!!

it seems fitting that Cheetah Piss won the race for First Root.. in like 10 or 11 days :gadday:
which strain will come in second place, Oreoz, the Sherb, or ThinMint-Jealousy ?
i predict they'll be rooting in that order ^

thanks for your help Intrinsic  i just read all that stuff about posting anonymous... :scared:
day 11 - these were all fed, watered and tucked in tight :tonka: but I stripped the metadata and used a VPN :emp:

the light was turned down to 25% just for the picture and then back up to 50%
but what day of flowering should i turn it up to 75%?
maybe day 15 or 20, or wait until the buds are like popcorn-size?

the tent is only 5' so the 200w led light is way up at the top, just over 24" above the canopy
but i'm afraid to burn their little pistils if i turn it up too soon
or maybe to stunt them by not doing it soon enough
but it seems that something always goes a bit wrong around around the 3rd or 4th week
and some of the pistils often start turning brown long before they should
or maybe it could've been too much organics before, but this time i mixed up a little blend of them all first,
so i only used about half as much as last time, just a couple of teaspoons per 4 gal pot, instead of a teaspoon of each kind.
