Vote for RFK if you want roller – fair play – but ease up on the stupid shit. Black Rock may profit, but they didn't start this war and neither did the US – Putin did.
Sovereign nations are allowed to do whatever they like, but once they start invading other sovereign nations, they should pay. That goes for the US – I'm not a hypocrite in that sense. They should pay for the fucking mess in Iraq that led to ISIS and other extreme moevements, as well as all the other damage US hegemony has caused around the world. They owe Vietnam fucking BIG TIME. So do we (at least we established economic ties and provided aid as soon as we pulled out). Israel should fucking pay for what they are doing now.
You can't, on the one hand, condone Russia and not condone Israel – they are both war criminals.

Countries will join, or not join, depending on what US wants them to do...Prawn Connery wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 12:20 amNo-one joins NATO who doesn't want to join.
Only a fucking idiot would think all those countries joined NATO because US arms firms pointed metaphorical guns at their collective heads.
...otherwise US will use metaphorical guns to gain submission...
...and if that doesn't work, US will use real guns...i.e. Maidan coup.

You and I have been back and forth on Ukraine at nauseum, and we both fully understand where the other stands on the issue.Prawn Connery wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 12:28 amVote for RFK if you want roller – fair play – but ease up on the stupid shit. I posted this video to display his views for anyone who was unaware.
Blackrock and Vanguard if you want to discuss, have pretty much been buying up all the assets for sometime. I suspect that may have something to do with putting up safeguards for the banks against de-dollarization. You can look up almost any corporation of substance and find that they are the majority shareholders. Then when you look them up, you find that they own each other as well.
I never spent any considerable energy studying the matter, but it is what it is, they own it all.

Sweden doesn't let the US tell it what to do. Neither does Finland. The US had fuck-all to do with them joining – it had eveything to do with Russia's invasion of Ukraine.Butcher Bob wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 12:15 pmCountries will join, or not join, depending on what US wants them to do...Prawn Connery wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2024 12:20 amNo-one joins NATO who doesn't want to join.

As for other nations joining, while it's true the US leads NATO – and that NATO invited former Soviet nations to join – no-one forced them. Nordic nations don't host bases an France's military operates independently to NATO and is not part of its nuclear agreeement. It's absolute folly to suggest larger NATO members the joined in later years such as Germany, Spain and Turkey were "forced" by the US to join.
There's also the logical fallacy that if the US "forced" other nations to join, why does it spend more on NATO than every other member country combined? If you're going "force" a nation to join NATO, then that implies you can also "force" them to contribute their fair share of military spending.
There is a being difference between "force" and "coerce". No sovereign nation joins NATO unless it wants to.
As for Ukraine, even if there was US intereference, the Maiden Revolution was a DIRECT RESPONSE to Russian interference! The Russians had been interfering in Ukraine ever since it got independence. Ukraine had one corrupt Russian vassel leader after another. The arrogance to suggest that the people of Ukraine couldn't make up their own minds – even in the face of US and Russian interference – is palapable.
If anyone here wants to continue to suggest that the Ukrainians can't think for themselves, then go ahead and explain to us all why they have been fighting to the death against Russia's invasion for the past 2.5 years? If they all truly love Russia, why don't they just all roll over and let Putin have his way with them?
Ukraine fights because it is a soverign nation fighting for its very existance. It doesn't want to be ruled by Russia. They fight even when right-wing fascists and Putin Stooges in the US hold up their military aid. They fight with whatever they have, and continue to fight and hold "the second best military in the world" – HA! – at bay. Nothing anyone here says changes that.

Fact: Russia invaded Ukraine
Fact: Ukraine is fighting Russia like its very existence depends on it.
Everything else is insignificant bullshit compared to these two facts.

You do realize that US has picked up 83% of the tab on this war, right?
US pays...everyone else obeys...or we sanction yer ass.
US is starting to lose it's hammer to do that, but for now it's still big enough...
...most effectively used on allies.
