WASHINGTON (AP) — An IRS special agent is seeking whistleblower protection to disclose information about what the agent alleges is mishandling of an investigation into President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, according to a letter sent to members of Congress.

Mark Lytle, the attorney for the IRS whistleblower, wrote to lawmakers Wednesday that his client has information about a “failure to mitigate clear conflicts of interest in the ultimate disposition” of a criminal investigation related to the younger Biden’s taxes and whether he made a false statement in connection with a gun purchase.

“Despite serious risks of retaliation, my client is offering to provide you with information necessary to exercise your constitutional oversight function and wishes to make the disclosures in a nonpartisan manner to the leadership of the relevant committees on both sides of the political aisle,” Lytle said in a letter, obtained by The Associated Press, that was sent to the chairmen and ranking members of several House and Senate committees.

The ex-CIA chief who wrote the letter signed by 51 former intelligence officials attempting to discredit The Post’s report on Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop told another former top intelligence official that he was drafting it as a “talking point” for Joe Biden to use during a debate with President Donald Trump.

Former acting CIA Director Michael Morell told fellow former CIA boss John Brennan in an Oct. 19, 2020, email — obtained by Just the News — that he was attempting to give Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign some ammunition to “push back on Trump” during the debate as he urged Brennan to sign on to the letter calling Hunter Biden’s laptop a possible Russian disinformation operation.

“Can I add your name to this list?” Morell asks Brennan in the email.

“Trying to give the campaign, particularly during the debate on [Oct. 22, 2020], a talking point to push back on Trump on this issue,” Morell explains, admitting the letter was to help Biden during his showdown with Trump.

Brennan responded: “Ok, Michael, add my name to the list. Good initiative. Thanks for asking me to sign on.”

It is not clear why the whistleblower and his team were removed from the investigation.

Tom Devine, a lawyer who has represented thousands of whistleblowers during the last 40 years, said it would violate the federal Whistleblower Protection Act if the agent were to be removed from the investigation because of his disclosures.

"That's considered a significant change in duties and working conditions to remove you from a case, and if it's because of your whistleblowing, that would make it a violation of the law," said Devine, who is the legal director for the nonprofit Government Accountability Project, a whistleblower protection and advocacy organization.

making protected disclosures. This suspension rendered Friend unable to fulfill his duties
as a special agent—thus, the FBI suspended him indefinitely. While on suspension, the
FBI refused to allow Friend to obtain outside employment, leaving his family without
income.
• In Staff Operations Specialist Allen’s case, the FBI suspended his security clearance for

Instead, it alleges multiple violations of FBI rules and guidelines as the bureau’s reasoning for revoking the agents’ security clearances. Democrats on the subcommittee argued during the hearing that the agents did not fit the definition of whistleblower and argued their actions have been politically motivated.

The memo laying out the security clearance investigations was provided to Jordan after the GOP-led subcommittee declined the FBI’s offer to provide Jennifer Moore, the agency’s executive assistant director of human resources, for a second interview to answer questions about the security clearances. Friend and Allen have 30 days to appeal the decision to repeal the revocations.

In the letter, Dunham writes that Friend’s top-secret clearance was revoked Tuesday after a referral from the FBI’s Jacksonville, Fla., field office had prompted the bureau’s security division to open an investigation in September 2022. Friend’s security clearance was suspended on Sept. 16, 2022.


The investigation concluded that Friend presented a number of security concerns related to his personal conduct, handling of protected information and “use of information technology,” according to the letter.

In a letter to Friend detailing the reasons for the clearance revocation, Moore wrote: “The security concerns stem from your refusal to execute a court-ordered, arrest warrant, unauthorized download of sensitive FBI information, failure to participate in a Security Awareness Briefing, unauthorized dissemination of sensitive FBI information, unauthorized recording of executive management, unsanctioned interviews with the media, and lack of candor during an interview with the Security Division.” That letter also was also shared with Jordan and obtained by The Post.

Dunham’s letter included additional details about Friend’s clearance revocation, saying he espoused alternative theories about the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. Friend entered “FBI space and downloaded documents from FBI computer systems to an unauthorized removable flash drive,” Dunham wrote. “The FBI then required Mr. Friend to attend a Security Awareness Briefing (SAB) regarding his actions, but he refused to do so.”

In the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, a 2020 video of a Ukrainian lawmaker leveling unsubstantiated allegations against Biden is being presented as new in social media posts.

The video, posted March 1 on Facebook, had a caption that said, "Ukraine Press Release About Joe Biden." The video featured Andrii Derkach, a member of Ukraine’s parliament, talking in front of a backdrop that says Interfax, the name of a Russian news agency.

The video’s caption was later updated to add, "I am not sure when this was released. Either way it warrants prayer because someone has been caught red handed."

The post was flagged as part of Facebook’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed.

The caption gives the misleading impression that Ukraine recently released information about Biden. In reality, the footage was from a press conference held in May 2020 — and it was orchestrated not by Ukraine, but by Derkach, who U.S. officials have described as an active Russian agent, the Associated Press reported.

Derkach was sanctioned by both the U.S. and Ukraine after being accused of interfering in the 2020 U.S. presidential election.

During the 2020 press conference, Derkach revealed audio recordings of 2015 phone conversations between then-Vice President Biden and then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. An Interfax story claimed the recordings revealed "the receipt of "$1 billion in exchange for maintaining Burisma schemes and international corruption."

Derkach was advancing a claim, also pushed by former President Donald Trump and his supporters, that Biden tried to protect Burisma, a Ukrainian natural gas company where his son, Hunter Biden, served on the board of directors. The unfounded allegation was that Biden withheld funding to Ukraine until the country’s top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, was fired, because Shokin had launched a criminal investigation into Burisma.

"(T)he corruption theories have been discredited because Shokin did not have an active investigation into Hunter Biden’s work and because Joe Biden, in seeking Shokin’s firing, was representing the official position of the Obama administration, Western allies and many in Ukraine who perceived the prosecutor as soft on corruption," the AP reported.

And the audio recordings released by Derkach "shed relatively little new light on Biden’s actions in Ukraine," the Washington Post reported. The AP concurred, noting that the recordings "largely confirm Biden’s account of his dealings in Ukraine."

The caption implies that Ukraine recently released information about Biden. But the video featured in the post is from a press conference held in May 2020 and orchestrated by Derkach, who has been described by U.S. officials as an active Russian agent.

During the press conference, Derkach revealed audio tapes that he said served as evidence of Biden’s misuse of American taxpayer money. But the recordings corroborated Biden’s own account of his dealings in Ukraine.

Arturs Saburovs, third secretary at the Latvian Embassy in Washington, D.C., confirmed the memo’s veracity to Solomon and said Latvia did not receive evidence from Ukraine to further its investigation.

Latest Biden Endorsement Draws More Attention to Hunter Biden Corruption
“In this case, the Latvian FIU reached out to its Ukrainian counterpart seeking additional clarifications,” Saburovs said. “Information was received, yet no incriminatory evidence for further analysis was provided by the Ukrainian authorities.”

While the Latvians did not take additional action in 2016, Solomon reported that the memo “adds to the mounting evidence that there was ongoing investigative activity surrounding Burisma Holdings and Hunter Biden’s compensation as a board member in the weeks just before Joe Biden forced the firing of the Ukraine prosecutor overseeing the Burisma investigation in spring 2016.”

Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid to Ukraine, pressuring the country to fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin. Shokin was overseeing a wide-ranging investigation into Burisma and he has since insisted that he was making plans to interview Hunter Biden when he was fired in March 2016 under pressure from Biden.


The Biden camp has firmly denied any wrongdoing, insisting that the former vice president forced Shokin’s ouster because he was ineffective at fighting corruption. Shokin claims he was fired due to the Burisma probe.

The Obama State Department was concerned about Hunter Biden’s employment at Burisma, due to the potential conflict of interest with his father leading U.S. policy with the country. In fact, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent — who led the Obama State Department efforts in Ukraine — testified that he personally intervened in 2016 to stop a joint project between the State Department and Burisma.

Biden supporters have insisted that Shokin’s investigation into Burisma was dormant at the time the former vice president pushed for the prosecutor’s ouster, but Solomon reported that “evidence has emerged that the investigation was, in fact, active.”

Ukrainian prosecutors confirmed that they transferred their investigative files to detectives at the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine in December 2015. On February 2, 2016, Shokin’s office secured a court order to re-seize the assets of Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky. Officers did indeed seize some of his property.

In late February, after the Latvian memo, Burisma’s American representatives pressed the Obama State Department to help end the corruption allegations against the company. In March 2016, the top State Department official for Ukraine policy called for Shokin’s ouster, and less than three weeks later Biden pressured Ukraine’s president to fire him. Shortly thereafter, Burisma’s American legal team sought a meeting with Shokin’s replacement.


The corruption investigations were dropped in late 2016 and early 2017. But in early 2019, NABU and the Ukraine prosecutor general’s office announced they were reopening the investigation into Burisma.

Burisma has been in the media this year because of revelations that it was paying huge director fees to Robert Hunter Biden, son of former US Vice President and current leading candidate for US President Joe Biden. Since there was no legitimate business purpose for paying so much to Hunter Biden, many people suspect that the purpose of these payments was to influence Joe Biden.

Whether or not Joe Biden was influenced by these payments is unclear. However what is clear is that Burisma connects together a spider web of questionable dealings involving Latvian banks.

MYKOLA ZLOCHEVSKY
Zlochevsky was a businessman and a civil servant in Ukraine at the same time. He served as Natural Resources Minister under Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and as National Security Council Deputy Secretary under President Viktor Yanukovich.

Investigations into Zlochevsky’s activities outside Ukraine began in 2014. The United Kingdom’s Serious Fraud Office froze a UK bank account linked to him and Serhiy Kurchenko. Deutsche Bank reported money flowing from Zlochevsky’s Cyprus companies to the Latvian branch of Ukraine’s Privatbank.

Why Latvia? Perhaps this is because the Latvian government has been protecting a circle of Russian and Ukrainian offshore banks for nearly three decades. Latvia is cooperative adopting anti-money-laundering laws as requested by Europe and the United States however doesn’t enforce those laws. None of the big money launderers in Latvia have been prosecuted.

Azarov, Yanukovich, and Kurchenko have all been in Russia since the 2014 Ukrainian Revolution and Ukraine has issued arrest warrants for them. Ukraine says it cannot find Zlochevsky however rumors are that he lives in Monaco and has citizenship from Cyprus.

BALTIC INTERNATIONAL BANK
Now it has been learned that a former CIA official Joseph Cofer Black not only serves on the board of Burisma, but also serves on the board of Latvia’s Baltic International Bank. Baltic International Bank has been linked to Russia’s Boris Berezovsky, Belarus’ Aleksander Lukashenko, and Kyrgyzstan’s Maxim Bakiyev.

But what’s more interesting is that this is a connection to other banks in Latvia which form the Latvian Proxy Network which originated just as Latvia was supposedly becoming independent from Russia. Parex Bank received the first FX trading license from the USSR and Baltic International Bank received the second.

BLUE STAR STRATEGIES, PAREX BANK, ABLV BANK
Parex Bank of Latvia hired Sally Painter from Blue Star Strategies to lobby in Washington in the early 2000’s. The fear was that Parex might get blacklisted by the US Treasury since Parex was caught involved in many corruption scandals and also most of Parex’s deposits were originated in Russia and Ukraine and held in the names of shell companies.

Blue Star Strategies’ first challenge was to discredit the Parex whistleblower (myself) who began distributing information that Parex was a fraud in 2004. The Latvian American Financial Forum run by Aivis Ronis and funded by Baltic International Bank helped Blue Star Strategies. This was a success in the sense that Parex was able to borrow over a billion euros after the whistleblowing and before giving its liabilities to Latvian taxpayers in 2008 thus crashing the national economy.

Latvia gave Painter a high state award, supposedly for helping to rescue Latvia from the United States and Sweden which, according to them, caused Parex to collapse even though evidence shows large transfers of cash from Parex to Russian mobsters.

But the story didn’t end there. Parex clients and staff switched to Ukio Bank of Lithuania, ABLV Bank of Latvia, and Citadele Bank of Latvia.

Ukio, which employed the same Head of Compliance from Parex named Arnis Lagzdins, was caught processing huge payments from oligarchs to Vladimir Putin’s cellist until Ukio was looted in 2013.

And, Blue Star Strategies was hired by the Latvian government to protect ABLV Bank from getting blacklisted by the US Treasury. For example, Blue Star Strategies and the Latvian government were caught secretly commissioning an article by Anders Aslund from the Atlantic Council praising ABLV. This was just before ABLV was blacklisted in 2018 for helping Kurchenko to loot Ukraine.

Lagzdins was by this time also in Washington helping Blue Star Strategies, now as a representative of the Latvian financial regulator and protected with a diplomatic passport.

Simultaneously, Blue Star Strategies was also lobbyist for Burisma. Burisma signed an agreement with the Atlantic Council whereby Burisma gave money to the Atlantic Council supposedly for cooperation fighting against corruption.

Hopefully light will be shed on the connections between Burisma, Hunter Biden, the Atlantic Council, and Latvia since the FBI is currently investigating and Blue Star Strategies has been subpoenaed.

CITADELE BANK AND TIM COLLINS
Now in 2020, Citadele Bank with the remainder of former Parex clients and staff continues soliciting offshore clients from Russia and Ukraine. Supposedly, Citadele is clean because it is partly owned by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and partly owned by an investor group led by American Tim Collins.

Originally, the investor group included former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker who passed away last winter. Citadele was giving signed Volcker books to inquisitive journalists to give confidence that Citadele had high integrity. We will never know whether Volcker knew what was really going on at Citadele.

More recently, Collins has been involving former US Secretary of State John Kerry in dealings in Eastern Europe, possibly planning to use Kerry as a front for future investments since Volcker is no longer available. Kerry, like Biden, is a top figure in America’s Democratic Party.

EUROPEAN BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT (EBRD)
Latvia supposedly proved that Parex had not been looted and that the whistleblower information was fake in 2009 by inviting the EBRD to conduct due diligence on Parex. The EBRD announced that Parex was valuable and bought a stake. However, in 2010, it was revealed that actually half of Parex assets were bad including the ones flagged in the whistleblowing. And, in 2014 Latvia reversed the EBRD privatization, revealing to the public that the 2009 deal included a secret reversion that had been designated as a ‘state secret.’

At the same time, Ukio in Lithuania was looted and another whistleblower said that EBRD transactions with Ukio were completely fraudulent and similar to Parex. Nobody will investigate.

And most recently in 2018, a Eurostat report revealed that the 2010 sale of a stake in Citadele to the EBRD was also fake and will be reversed. As of 2020, it has not been reversed yet. The Latvian government is still secretly paying money to protect the Russian offshore bankers while publicly claiming to fight against them.

Bankers from Deutsche, Nomura and Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena are in prison today for doing something similar. That cover-up generated a lot of media attention while the media remains silent about the similar and still-ongoing EBRD cover-up, which interestingly also involves Nomura.

CALL TO ACTION
The details of what went on in Russia, Ukraine, and Latvia with all the corrupt money flowing around for thirty years would take a lot of investigative work to uncover.

However one thing is easy to fix: the EBRD racket of getting secretly paid to pretend to invest in banks should be publicly exposed and shut down. All it takes is for any well-known journalist or any one of the 69 countries that invest in the EBRD to demand (1) a full list of all EBRD investments that were fake because the EBRD was secretly paid to make the investments and (2) a full list of all people receiving consulting fees from the EBRD.

It’s possible to wipe away this spider web of corruption and restore some integrity to the democracies and economies of many countries.

An Arkansas judge has ordered Hunter Biden to appear in court in person in July to face possible contempt proceedings and even potential jail time for allegedly concealing his finances in the child support battle against the mother of one of his children.

Judge Holly Lodge Meyer, who is handling Hunter Biden’s child support case in Arkansas, issued an order Monday saying President Joe Biden’s son must appear on July 10 at the Independence County Courthouse in Batesville to explain “why he should not be held in contempt” after lawyers for Lunden Alexis Roberts, the mother of Hunter Biden’s child, argued that Hunter Biden was ignoring the judge’s May order to hand over information on his finances.

BREAKING: Hunter Biden's lawyers are facing sanctions after they allegedly lied to the Delaware clerk in his criminal tax case.

The Biden Crime Family is at it again.

According to the Daily Mail, someone from Hunter Biden's attorney's law office called the Delaware clerk pretending to be an attorney for Republican House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith.

Smith's attorney is Theodore Kittila.

The person who lied to the Delaware clerk allegedly asked them to remove the original filing against Hunter Biden in an attempt to remove the 448 pages of congressional testimony from the IRS whistleblowers.

Once Kittila found out about the scheme, he sent a letter to the judge:

"We promptly contacted the clerk's office, and we were advised that someone contacted the court representing that they worked with my office and that they were asking the court to remove this from the docket. We immediately advised that this was inaccurate," Kittila explained.

Judge Maryellen Noreika appears to have reason to believe that Hunter Biden's lawyers were indeed behind the scheme considering she is giving them just a few more hours to explain thereselves or else they will be sanctioned.

"It appears that the caller misrepresented her identity and who she worked for in an attempt to improperly convince the clerk's office to remove the amicus materials from the docket," Noreika said.

"Therefore, it is hereby ordered that, on or before 9pm today on July 25, 2023, counsel for defendant shall show cause as to why sanctions should not be considered for misrepresentations to the court."

IRS Director of Field Operations Michael Batdorf told the House Ways and Means Committee on September 12 that the DOJ’s tax division opposed charging Hunter Biden during a June 2022 meeting with IRS officials and Weiss.“DOJ Tax would have to authorize charges prior to David Weiss recommending an indictment or prosecution,” Batdorf said in a transcribed interview, the Washington Examiner reported.

“So, I mean, my understanding is that, I mean, he can’t make that decision without DOJ Tax authorization,” Batdorf, who was IRS agent whistleblower Gary Shapley’s senior in the IRS chain of command, said.

Notes from Shapley show he quoted Weiss as saying he was “not the deciding person” on charging Hunter Biden with tax, gun, and FARA violations.

A fourth IRS official has told Congress about roadblocks that now-special counsel David Weiss faced last year in attempting to bring charges against Hunter Biden outside his district in Delaware.

Darrell Waldon, the former IRS special agent in charge of the agency’s Washington field office, told the House Ways and Means Committee in a closed-door interview earlier this month about a number of challenges he witnessed during his two years on the case, according to a transcript of the interview obtained by the Washington Examiner.Waldon also discussed the IRS’s decision to remove a whistleblower, Gary Shapley, and the rest of Shapley’s IRS investigative team from the Hunter Biden investigation after Weiss stated he was no longer on speaking terms with Shapley.

“Mr. Weiss went to the U.S. Attorney's Office — I can't recall the dates — and they did not agree to prosecute the case in D.C.,” Waldon, who in February took another job within the IRS that moved him away from the Hunter Biden case, said.

On Sept. 9, 2017, McGonigal met Dorian Ducka, a CEFC employee and Hunter Biden associate, in Albania, according to his indictment. Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama also was at the meeting. At Ducka’s request, McGonigal urged Rama to be careful about awarding oil field drilling licenses in Albania to Russian front companies.

On Sept. 10, 2017, Hunter signed an attorney engagement letter to represent CEFC’s Ho for a $1 million retainer.


According to Luft, sometime in September 2017, Hunter and his uncle Jim Biden flew to Hong Kong to meet Ho and asked him to buy them two “burner” iPhones before telling him the coast was clear to go back to New York. But when Ho returned to the US on Nov. 17, 2017, he was arrested at JFK Airport on charges of bribery and money laundering.


Ho’s first call was to Jim Biden, looking for Hunter. Hunter then asked another lawyer, Edward Kim, to do the legal work. Kim asked Hunter in an email the afternoon of Ho’s arrest to “find the names of the FBI agents you spoke with, that would be helpful.” Hunter replied: “Working on it.”

On Nov. 19, 2017, McGonigal had another meeting in Albania with Ducka, according to his indictment.

How McGonigal fits into the Biden-CEFC picture is still to be determined, but he was in charge of FBI counterintelligence in New York at the time when the SDNY was surveilling Ho and his associates, so he must have been aware of Hunter’s connection.

Comer described the information contained in Luft’s letter Sunday as “helpful” and said he looked forward to investigating his allegations about an FBI mole. His committee still is interested in interviewing Luft.

“We get a lot of tips, and the next step is to verify the accuracy of the claims,” he said.

Shady characters
Luft’s timing is fortuitous because the Biden corruption impeachment inquiry beginning Thursday will refocus attention on China. Comer is set to reveal two new tranches of evidence this week, including a new Chinese wire to Biden family members and new documents provided by the IRS whistleblowers.

Comer also hit back at Democrats’ criticism of his inquiry for seeking to interview shady characters, saying: “That’s a reflection about Biden, not our inquiry.”


When Democrats first smeared him in June for wanting to interview Luft, whom they branded a “Chinese spy” because of his association with CEFC, Comer had a devastating comeback: “All I know is that [Luft] was getting money from the same company the Bidens were getting money from … Is the president’s son a Chinese spy? They took money from the same company.”

Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) interjected: “Who cares if they had money from the same company?”

And that is probably the most perfect summation of the Democrats’ untenable position of defending the indefensible as the impeachment inquiry kicks off this week.

That's a pretty specific crime. Every aspect has been supported by banking records.
Hunter's What'sAPP message to China clearly indicates a shakedown for money.
The email from Burisma clearly demands "deliverables" from high ranking US officials.
Since everyone in the family seems to have received money, including his grandkids, this meets all the standards of bribery.
Joe doesn't have to be caught with a pocket full of cash. His family benefits are enough in law.

The US government through the CIA and it's NGO, the Atlantic Council were already giving Burisma a leg up on the Gas extractions in Ukr.
Cofer Black, a CIA man also sat on the board of Burisma along side Hunter, the former dude of Poland, and another American named Alan Aptar, a banking guy, and Devon Archer. The Atlantic council has numerous CIA "retirees" on it's board of directors.
So it's obvious to me that the CIA had a specific purpose for Ukraine, which IMO was linked to weakening/diminishing Russia's standing in Europe as a country of influence.
Maybe Hunter was an asset/useful idiot for the CIA, but it astounds me that the MSM has not made or publicized this connection.
I believe that the Biden's may have been exploiting the situation for money, oblivious or not to the CIA's plan for Slovic Europe.

As far as crimes? yeah, crimes a plenty. Joe does'nt have to directly benefit from the bribe, there just needs to be a link to a benefit for each party which includes close associates and family.

I think maybe the democrats are offering up Menendez as a sacrificial lamb seeing that he was most careless about hiding his money.
Now they can point to him and offer a realtime example of what bribery looks like, even though the Biden cash flow was much more nuanced.
