Raskin's spin on the Bobulinski deposition was so blatantly mischaracterized that Bobulinski's lawyer penned a letter directly to Raskin, admonishing his public statements against what actually occurred during the hearing.

The only chaotic element in thatdeposition was the conduct of the Minority Members of Congress and their staff. Theyrepeatedly interrupted, talked over, and attempted to shout down Mr. Bobulinski, and at timestried to stop him from fully answering questions. Beyond the range of the camera, they smirked,sneered and giggled, wagged fingers, and gesticulated wildly in anger as he gave his testimony.We are not the only ones dismayed by the Minority’s conduct, for the Chairman of theCommittee himself apologized on the record for the “pathetic” display in that interview room. (Id.p. 277).It would appear to me that if we are indeed interested in joining together to ensure the Americanpublic has the opportunity to judge the credibility and demeanor of all involved witnesses, weshould join together to call upon Chairman Comer and Chairman Jordan to convene a livehearing, under oath, at which Mr. Bobulinski, the Biden family, Mr. Walker, and Mr. Gilliar are allpresent to answer the same questions on these matters of national importance.
