The House Oversight Committee produced a list of evidence that they have obtained as an update to their investigation.
This is in my opinion a reaction to the now heavily sold Russia Collusion the Sequel.

This all comes on the heels of Putin's public statement that Biden is his preferred choice in 2024, due to his predictability.

I think Hunter is supposed to be deposed tomorrow.

Smirnov has been locked away.. after being released on bail. The 6 million that they paid him over the last 15 years would allow him to escape.
He will likely not be HEARD from for some time... at least 9 months.

I did read a few pages of the hearing, but didn't think it backfired. Hunter sounded evasive and disingenuous about a good deal.
Public hearings are now being touted as the next phase of the investigation.

Representative James Comer (R-KY) says that even if House Republicans vote to impeach President Joe Biden, the Democrat-led Senate wouldn't convict. “We want to provide the truth to the American people, but we also want to hold people accountable for wrongdoing. Not just the Bidens, but people in the government. The Deep State actors who have been part of the cover-up,” says Rep. Comer.
