it ugly

someone piped up recently than the russians were using human wave attacks.

it exhibited an grave understanding of how trench warfare works. in short the deal is nobody storms a line or position before their own artillery has blown the living fuck out of it first

so i know a bit about shrapnel

ive got an arm full of it.

the deal is velocity trumps mass.
a sliver of metal moving fast enough is spit out and it doesnt matter what bone it finds
its cartwheeling and nothing stands in its way

wreaking havoc

for the year after my shooting i nursed skin sores on that arm
theyd turn to puss and as i squeezed them id find splinters of metal in the ooze

ive a coin vial ive saved them in
when i weigh it, its less than that ive got in high grade gold

1967 442 onramp onto freeway. went from 2nd gear
to 3rd gear while stomping on gas. big boom linkage
in my hand sharp pain in arm. then boom boom thought
car was going to flip over. then screeching stop. had some
metal in arm pulled it out and taped my handkerchief to it.
the tranny had blown up linkage was loose in the car. the
driveline had bent in 1/2 was the booming on bottom of car.
pieces of tranny all over. got a tow home. then cleaned and
put butterfly stitches onto arm after removing more metal.
then got a mri one time have a little metal in 1 eye from
construction work. it bounced all over thought it was going
to blind me. but now i have like a blood blister on that eyeball.
think that is it for shrapnel..

damn fellas

rock climbers using aid such that their pounding metal into the cracks and crevices has become a near oddity few specialize in and then where they have gone its frowned upon repeating using methods reliant on hammering

this once im hammering a set tool used to install drop-in anchors,

and my hammer blow was off center,
and 3/4inch different ment the set tool i was aiming for gouged a chunk out of the edge of end face of of the hammer i was swinging and it sailed off red hot and lodged in my biscep

fucking sizzled
can still see the scar

on the shrapnel scale that would be about a 1
