They should throw more. Just think about the economics of using $4m Patriot missiles to shoot down $20,000 Shahed drones.

But then again, Iran would get hammered by Israel if it started a real conflict, so it chose the option that did the least amount of damage whilst trying to save the most amount of face. Iran has absolutely no answer to Israel's airforce.

Iran isn't going to start a war it will lose. Badly. It would be bad news for Russia, too, as they both know there would be no hesitation from the US to send arms to Israel (unlike Ukraine) and that Iran would have to cut back on supplying Russia and in turn probably ask Russia for more weapons itself (mainly aircraft and anti-aircraft missiles).

Iran would also be isolated by pretty much all other Arab nations– who else would help it, apart from maybe Hezbollah in Lebanon? Russia, China and North Korea are all busy trying to fight Ukraine.

Not that I'd love to see Israel get its comeuppance, but I just don't think Iran - alone - is capable.

Besides, Israel spent $1 billion dollars on defending itself against the Shahid drones and the out of date missiles that Iran was chucking at them..

We all know who the traitors of the Arab world are now, the Saudis and the Jordanians....

i hope Mohammed bin Salman gets people to check the undercarriage of his many cars on a regular basis...

It doesn't appear to have stopped them in the past. But if Iran is smart, it can exhaust Israel's stock of air-defence missiles very cheaply.
