What specifically is economic fascism? According to a 2012 study by the Cato Institute, Here are 10 key points:
1. Allegiance to state. All encompassing structure with a dictatorial leadership. Globalist Deep State and Permanent Washington ensure state agenda prevails.
2. Economic fascism is a variety of socialism — individual rights may be routinely suppressed in the name of “social justice,” “national greatness” or some other utopian ideal. Woke Culture, Information Censorship.
3. When government becomes dysfunctional, because of runaway spending, unsustainable debt, a war gone wrong or other crises, people often clamor for authority. Covid lock downs, Immigration Crisis, European war.
4. Politicians know better than private citizens what should be done. Adherence to global dictates of fossil fuels etc, Public education curriculum.
5. With so much at stake, a strong leadership must not be hampered by an archaic constitution that unreasonably limits his power. Free Speech, Gun Control, Electoral College.
6. Political leaders must be willing to play hardball. Politically polarized federal law enforcement, Two tiered justice system, IRS build up.
7. The most effective way to attract political support is to give away other people’s money. Student Loans, Rent moratoriums, Covid Stimulas checks.
8. Build up political slush funds by awarding subsidies, tax breaks, tariff protection and regulatory carve‐outs for capitalist cronies. Green energy transition industry. Big Pharma and Big Tech
9. Seduce the media. Hard to tell who's seducing who.
10. Be humble. Just a guy named Joe from Scranton.
When you point your finger at someone else, there are 3 fingers remaining all pointing at you.
