My bad. Nick Quested wasn't the filmmaker for the White House commentary. He a filmmaker doing a documentary on the schism in America . Part of the story was falling around the proud boys prior to knowing about the j6 insurrection and then during the insurrection. An eyewitness to the coordination and the violence.

The January 6 insurrection occurred two years ago, and in the time since, journalists, academics, and political leaders have almost entirely ignored how the attempt to overturn the 2020 election is linked to the mainstreaming of white supremacy and Great Replacement Theory. This willful ignorance can (and must) be challenged, but anti-racist and progressive activists and intellectuals need to put white supremacy at the forefront of our discussions of J6 and Trumpism. Without this transformation in how we understand our political culture, there’s little chance of fighting back against white supremacy in America.

Well for what it's worth I've always maintained it's been about white supremacy. Or at least that is Trumpism power source, But whenever I've pointed this out Maga types always responds with:" that's racism to say that", unwittingly proving my point.

What other possible reason would one vote for Trumpism's Make America great again?
