so it's been 3 years last week since I stopped smoking cigs and weed

My memory has come back beautifully, I can remember everything, I couldn't even remember a 4-digit pin code for my debit card, since I quit I have never misplaced my keys not even once.. haha

still weigh the same 15 stones which is 210 pounds.

i noticed discipline is more crucial than motivation and discipline is the key to fitness, as being consistent is the way, you will be fitter and put on the muscle if putting on muscle is what you want, I have been lacking in discipline lately as I have not worked out for the past 10 days, I want to get back to it and will come up with a good plan tonight so I can start training again, really helps with my mood and over all well being.....

day 9
of no sugar and low carbs have a slight headache for the past few days and random sleeping patterns.

really surprised on how easy it was to stop consuming sugar i thought i would really be craving it but so far so good...

i have cut out potatoes, rice, pasta out of my diet, so basically eating lots of meats/eggs/salad and veggies...

i am eating once a day, in the evenings, in the last 9 days i have lost 6 pounds

I never thought this topic thread would last more than a month.

I don't put much effort into doing things for my health, all my efforts are focused on not doing things to further damage this bag of bones.
pretty sure my lungs resemble the impossible to clean US Bong II I had in high school.

Yeah Dill, I found that too, when i cut out refined sugar the craving for sweets stops.
Lately I'm having with a mostly bell pepper/tomatoe diet, I reckon a lot of sugar but not the same. Fwiw I stopped craving chocolate.

What about water Dill, you drinking lots of water too?

yes i Usually drink half a litre every morning...

i drink black coffee with no sugar pre workout too,

sugar is the worst

fructose, dextrose and all the other names they use to disguise the fact its sugar..

oh I forgot to mention I stopped consuming table salt 2 years ago and I feel great, my blood pressure is normal

I use Himalayan pink salt

I lose the battle with carbs. :(
I go through phases...last winter was those Goldfish crackers...this summer it's been Drumstick ice cream cones. :p
I have gone from 3 to 5 energy drinks a day to just 1, making up the difference with Propel flavored water. :dunno:
Still want cigarettes every day...still not giving in. :)
