Yes. It's a HP Prolient I picked up on eBay for 300$. I have it setup as a bare metal VM host with Proxmox. Running 4 vms.
Linux LAMP
FreePBX
UNIFI Controller
Zonemaster çctv

Pbx is VM, others are LXCs
I use it as a lab for my commercial deployments.

That's a good question !
I'm sure there needed to be checks daily you know.
But as far as enviornment/watering control it was automatic.

Swinging windows, fans etc ~

Let's see if I can find it. It was pretty slick.

Never dabbled in automation, but I would think, modern home automation devices could be easily utilized for lights, HVAC and pumps.

moving forward the deal is feedback to controlers
and it gets complicated fast here
