This is what we have been running on since upgrade.
Things seem to be popping on the new server.
Haha it's literally a server!

Like that is the computer? Or?

Kinda cool really ~ Thanks Roller Man

Yes. It's a HP Prolient I picked up on eBay for 300$. I have it setup as a bare metal VM host with Proxmox. Running 4 vms.
Linux LAMP
FreePBX
UNIFI Controller
Zonemaster çctv

Pbx is VM, others are LXCs
I use it as a lab for my commercial deployments.

That's a good question !
I'm sure there needed to be checks daily you know.
But as far as enviornment/watering control it was automatic.

Swinging windows, fans etc ~

Let's see if I can find it. It was pretty slick.

Never dabbled in automation, but I would think, modern home automation devices could be easily utilized for lights, HVAC and pumps.

ah but even a switch timer is automation

moving forward the deal is feedback to controlers
and it gets complicated fast here

hence my question

what response are you building into your system...
the intolerance of the old order is emerging from the rosy mist in which it has hitherto been obscured.
