It's time to go back to the auto seeds I've got left over. I plan on this being a sun grown effort from sprout to harvest. In pots on the deck.

Thanks Lrus! I'm about a week behind in getting going due to work. So...I imagine all goes well these will get the longest hottest days and be done some time in September. Maybe a month before regs would? I dunno. I should be able to figure out at least half of that equation by finish.

I'm definitely not going for size. I don't want to draw attention to them, so short and compact works for me.

I've have ants galore out back and they love to farm aphids on our best plants, so I hope I'm ready with the DE & Neem oil extract.

Was thinking might try rubbing some live charas off of one or both of these when done. Just a thought, for now...

ok what i did to my outdoor you can do also.
get some tanglefoot. is a sticky grease like stuff.
is kind of yellow. is like the same sticky stuff as on
the pull out fly catchers in the little tube. sticky as hell.
put some around base of your plants. nothing get's thru it.
that will stop your ant's and everything else that crawls.

Cool I'll look for it. Yeah I tried wrapping those fly tapes around the stalk of my old dearly departed chili tree a few years ago. Seemed to work only temporarily. Also, since I'm using cages for my in ground chilis/maters,, it would have to be sure to be applied to where ever the cage meets the ground.
