I needed a little insurance against the root rot suffered last summer.
So Tanya has been put in the dirt. She was too hot for her own good.
As you can see, Soil is either sucky compared to hydro, or I just can't grow in dirt.
Tanya hasn't developed much since her relocation.

Your soil looks like it is not amended. Try buying some Happy Frog Soil Conditioner and some #3 perlite. Use 1/2
Potting soil, 1/4 perlite, 1/4 soil conditioner and your plants will thrive.

I actually gave it a boost with the unused hydro solution. And there is a shit ton of perlite in there, the top is just what I knocked of the side of the previous container. I tend to over care for my plants, so hydro is better for me, cause you can play doctor and change the nutes, and check the temps, etc. Soil however requires borderline neglect. You set your soil, and try not to overwater.. I want a mom though for clones, so soil is best.
If she grows slower, that's even better for me, I don't plan on taking cuttings for a month or so.
