my try at outdoor mushrooms
i am going to try and make 2 mushroom patches.
planting yard in fescue grass. also planted a large
pot with seed. i plan to hit pot with liberty caps.
then put plugs from it around yard. the spores
are hard to find. so this fall might go find my own.
bought 2 bales of alder chips. left them in the bag.
for 2 weeks or so been dumping 5 gal of water a day
into the bags. today i figured i would mound it up.
holy fuck they were heavy. but got them moved and
mounded where i wanted them. a friend is going to
send me some cyanescens to infect the pile of chips.
i get them going will be mushrooms every fall/spring.
wish me luck. mushroom wood pile

My therapist says I am a habitual liar and an attention seeker, therefore nothing I say/write is true and under no circumstances should I be believed nor held accountable for anything I say. all photo's are paintings

my try at outdoor mushrooms
Large quantities of psilocybin mushrooms can be dehydrated, vacuum sealed, and stored in a cool, dark place for at least a couple of years with no significant loss of potency. Just in case that becomes necessary. I've heard that people did that with so-called Liberty Cap psilocybes (Psilocybe semilanceata) commonly found in the Gulf Islands in BC, Canada and sold them in quantity in Ontario and Québec for many years very profitably. That's just a rumor though.

well here is my pot of fescue grass.
i had put some steer compost into the pot.
is growing well and thick. noticed today that
there is some kind of white round mushroom
growing in the pot. will keep a eye on it. when it
gets bigger will try to figure out what kind it is.
