Gimme The Good Earth 4.1
yelp made it to the edge of the infamous Oregon Dunes national rec area. 5 days of Beach and dune walking. ahead, With the little town of Reedsport, Winchester Bay in the middle.
gotta carry water for 2 days tommorow, ugg!
Oh and that Maui Wowie, it certainly is not. but still okay.
Also got some "lemon kush".
ahh .. it's not a grape. it is Salal. It makes extensive hedges on the coastal trails around here. It's everywhere.

Sand or snow?
Short answer, Sand is better.
Long answer,
Depends on the conditions, uphill dry sand is torture but postholing in knee deep snow is exhausting. Firm snow without steep angled traversing is better than trail.
Firm sand at low tide is pure joy.
And of course sleeping on sand is better and sleeping on snow.

I'm in Florence. The place where they blew up a dead whale with dynamite.
Dang the library computers are giving me grief.. Cannot run my own pic and file programs. there is no file manger or explorer available .. WTF! . gotta do it through MS Word. it took me 40 minuted to just to prep these two. holy wasted time batman. so im done. at least it let me on MPG. I'll try again at New Port.
