is a first for me on a pot plant.
no bugs on plants. looks like a tumor to me.

There may be an insect in the center of that growth but they are benign.

ok i cut it open. looked with a loop do not
see any bug of any sort in it.

I collect succulents....it kind of looks like a form of cresting, its rare and desirable in many ornmental plants....obviously not mj.

Lrus, that sure looks like an insect gall. often the larvae is unnoticeable small especially from mite gall. Thanks for cutting it open and the pics.

not sure what it is . but got sam the skunkman wondering
over at ic mag . he is checking with a few people over it.
he asked me to keep it because he might want some tests on it.
to me is just a oddity never seen anything like it on pot.
i was lucky i even noticed it. when trimming i am racing myself.
been trimming every sun for over a month. after next sun some time off.

If you are truly interested you can send a slice to a local college that has a botanist and they will tell you free of charge. I’m pretty sure of my diagnosis but would be interesting to see the results from a lab.

I was looking at my big ones today and damned if it doesn't look like it's about to begin flowering.
Also, something has been digging at the base of the big plants so I added some chicken wire on top and used large rocks to hold it in place until I get some mulch.
