I cut the charred parts off with scissors and take the paper off the rest. Crush it up in a bowl. Apparently I dont smoke as much as you with all those roaches.
Alcohol bath? Evaporation.

you can not extract roaches without it being nasty.
i have been thinking since this thread started.
only thing i have thought of so far is vaping them somehow.
that might taste ok.

Another benefit to the Volcano. The leftover built up resin is more akin to old school hash oil, than the nasty tar, sludge, of a spent bowl/joint...j/s
