the fire threatening redding California right now started west of town 15 miles or so near whiskeytown.

took the bus once from redding past wiskeytown deep into trinity county to help with some trimming.

got on the bus with a half dozen white kids. I sat in the front and for the next two hours all I heard was conversation that sounded a lot more like my times in jail
