odd the husband hasn't been able to drink coffee for some other reason for some 20 years so this was an extra treat for him and a whole new chapter in life it would seem!

ive looked it up since and most recipes call for a sizeable portion of roasted chickory in what you steep
this gets me interested in trying chickory now
never tasted it before

this was straight dandelion
tasted real good
damn near nearly coffee

it didn't have any attributes additional to coffee
no after taste

the only way I could describe is what it lacked
it was as if a third of the 'bright' attributes to coffee's taste were absent...
