The hairs are commonly white, but can appear greenish, yellow, pink or even red. That large plant should almost certainly have pre-flowers on it determining sex: have a closer look, especially towards the top ;)

My problem with peat pots and why I quit. The roots love them so much they tend not to grow out.

Oh I already know the big one is female, it started showing preflowers about a week or two ago. The others are younger than my big one so im just waiting for them to catch up. 2 out of the 3 smaller ones seem to be female though! Hopefully i luck out and all of them are female

Yeah I'm not too fond of peat pots either, I made small pots out of Solo cups instead and they worked much better.
