How does one communicate a flavor using words? The distinctive smell of old Thai isn't something I can put into words but that aroma is indelibly etched into my memory and once in a while I detect it in bud still today. I got closest to it growing some random Joey Weed Mix seeds out and a couple of the plants had it in spades, but I've caught a whiff of it in various C99 and haze-type flowers and some random hybrids as well. The thaistick weed was so vastly superior to almost everything readily available in the US when it came out that obviously people would keep the seeds they found (usually not many) and discover that it wouldn't finish outside north of S Florida or Hawai'i, that growing it in a grow room of the day (4 or 8 foot fluorescent bulbs) was difficult to say the least. But obviously a few of the brighter lights then would still have seeds saved when a couple of years later the first indica seeds started trickling in from the Central Asian Hippy Trail, which ran right through many of the best indica growing regions, those Thai seeds that wouldn't finish or make pretty buds were suddenly perfect for crossing with those new indicas. And an industry or three were born.

This is a farmers choice (not running it right now so had to dig in the photo archive).

I remember you from OG, you have a nice style....you posted a pic once of the biggest bud indoors I've seen in what looks to be a three gallon pot....I've grown much bigger but I measure dirt in yards not gallons.

That is really bizarre. Anyone familiar with the now-defunct Atlantis Market? Their social media pages are still up. Anyways, check these photos out.

My therapist says I am a habitual liar and an attention seeker, therefore nothing I say/write is true and under no circumstances should I be believed nor held accountable for anything I say. all photo's are paintings

Motherboard published a piece yesterday that comes right out and identifies our old friend Thomas Clark along with a Mike Wattier as the two principle architects behind the Silk Road website and empire and nails down--as many of us thought--Clark as being Silk Road's Variety Jones. Apparently our friend was (unsurprisingly) mostly running the operation from Big Koh Chang island in Thailand. Motherboard was apparently able to hack one of Clark's email accounts. One of the bookmarks found there was to a DEA tipline which might well explain Clarks uncanny seeming ability to stay out of custody. His Bangkok Airways account was also hacked, an account using the name Roger Clarke, another old alias for PoM.

So those of you wondering what became of PoM, it looks like he kept himself very busy the last several years, was probably the main force behind the Silk Road (much more so than Ulbricht) and has been hanging out in Thailand much of the time since we last heard from him. This also means whomever posted that Clark was in a prison in England for grow charges was probably doing deliberate misdirection and was most likely PoM himself trying to cover his tracks. Too bad about him apparently being a DEA informant, his would actually be a most impressive CV lacking that.

Read it all yourself here: http://motherboard.vice.com/read/these- ... -silk-road" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
