gonna try to get some old seeds to sprout
At least a week .. I like them big so right now I got a few training in the window even tho I still got lots of snow ... None of them will be transplanted before mid may (for my bros close to the south frontier) and for the north front it wont be before mid-June ... Harvest goes from mid-Sept to mid-Oct before snow comes back ... And unless you do control 12/12 day/night under tents , there is no way to get a harvest to maturity naturally ... Quebec Outdoors weed would need 3 to 5 weeks more budding time to finish .
100+ temps ? I would love to work under that for a change ! I bet you spend less in A/C then I do on heaters ...

Just do the transplant on a cloudy- or better rainy- day or couple of days and you'll have no problems even if you skip hardening them off.

I've never actually worried about hardening off seedlings except to cold. The cold screws 'em, but that's most problematic in pots (which is where heat just also happens to be most problematic). But for sunlight I've yet to have troubles with seedlings being burned, just not an issue. If I am worried about some indoor gals, they go under the black oak or get a temporary canopy.
Here's a photo of a temporary canopy I put up for some girls gifted to me in June last year. Some landscaper's fabric and a few bamboo supports, a couple of knots et voila, canopy. Only needed a couple of days under it.

Either you live where the laws are relaxed or you live way out in
the country away from prying eyes.
Planted in someone's yard around here is an invitation to rippers to
'COME & GET IT!'
Lost a grow last summer because person I grew w/ had it in his own
yard & we THINK it was a neighbours BF but had no proof.
Am never growing there again
That's why i prefer to grow indoors.
Good luck

On approach a couple of weed seeds sprouted and I got excited for a second.
Nothing yet...

Despite their superficial differences, both parties fervently agree on the crucial importance of making life easier for apex predators.

Yeah, that *would* be pretty quick. Give 'em a couple more days, especially if it's warm. Is it warm?
I thought I was off the radar, but quickly discovered just how eyes pry. We're taking more proactive measures this year, which will include dividing up growing spots on the property (we do have acreage, on a private road) and growing up 'on deck', as well as keeping the indoors going. However, I suck ass at growing indoors and there's no WAY I could grow the trees I grew in that planter indoors, just no way. That said, growing trees can be a problem if you're short, something I hadn't accounted for when I planted them there.Deej wrote:Either you live where the laws are relaxed or you live way out in

I soak my old beans in clonex gel or dilluted rootsexcelurator with great success.
112 degrees in the shade at 3,000 feet This was was my solution

How fun was that dirt to dig up? Looks almost as rocky as what we have.
