It started with SGBP declaring that gender is a social construct...which is nonsense. It's nonsense because that would equate it with religion, where you get to choose what you are, and then can be nothing like race, where you have no choice. If you get to choose your gender, this leads to hilarious societal hierarchies...



And apparently you want to drag the discussion to children for some reason. Dr. Cass has found there is no evidence to support any type of transition for children, that ideology has led the way for these treatments, not medical science...and even further that the medical community is doing far more harm to these children by not appropriately addressing the children's needs...

Bob, I know you're memory is fading but I was arguing that there is very little difference in physiology between boys and girls until they reach puberty. Testosterone is the hormone that gives men a physical advantage over women. Which is why, in the early days of sports doping, women used testosterone to improve their performance. And why transgender female>male have an advantage over biological women.

You like dictionary definitions Bob, so read this one. My highlight:

A disingenuous argument. The vast majority of those are not ambiguous genitalia...and the vast majority of the ones that are, can be identified by the presence or absence of ovaries...and the vast majority that can't, can still be identified by sex specific features like the hip bone.

You said it yourself "the vast majority" . . . but not all.

To wit, there are more than two genders.

Is an hermaphrodite male or female?

Is a "male" who produces no testosterone (and is sterile and may have no sex organs) male or female? Look up "male hypogonadism".

Simply put, how do you define "male" and "female" and what happens to those genders when you take away the very things that define them?

Open you mind, Bob. Gender is fluid. Just because the majority fall into one box or another doesn't mean everyone does.
