Thanks, i turned up lights to 75% on day 15, hope it wasn't too early, but 50% just seems weak.

Looking good! I love my dimmable hps ballast. Usually do 75% or lower for veg. Always felt that a 600hps grow only needs a 250MH veg, adjust for 1000hps = 400w MH...

just a day 20 update, 5 days after turning the light up to 75%
no ill effects are noted, so that timing worked out well.
pics were also taken at 75%, which makes them appear lighter green

the Float Tech method of germination is too easy, but it's hard to believe how well it works!
just keep the seeds floating for more than 24 hours (in the dark, at room temp) and then see how fast the magic happens
i did use a very small amount of hydrogen peroxide, only 1oz of 3% to 30oz spring water, so only about a tenth of a %
it was a warm day, close to 80f in here, and i covered the tray of cups with a piece of cling wrap and a folded towel
i'm just keeping them floating until the roots get to at least 3/8" (1cm) up to 1/2" or so, and they grow fast
they can breathe fine while floating, but if they sink, I'll need to rescue them asap before they drown
these autos are going straight out into 15-gallon pots, to avoid any other transplanting

turned the light up to 100% sooner than anticipated on day 25
i might expedite the power ups even more on the next run

it's been a rough week, i waited a bit too long to plant these autos after they cracked,
then my holes were a little too deep, and there was too much perlite getting in the way
but i performed a surgical procedure today, so hopefully they're on the right track now.
