Confessions of an Economic Hitman.

Post by smokebreaks »

Absolutely spot on Ben.

If you recall back about 20 years ago you called the us nazi enablers and you were spot on.

When World War II ended a Volkswagen learned their German auto worker was costing $28 an hour. A Detroit auto worker $25 an hour and a Mexican auto worker 200 pesos a day.

Production moves to Mexico.

When the Mexican auto workers decided they wanted the unionize workforce production moves to Brazil.

In Brazil being socialist country that was, they had quarters of unemployment. You could only work for one employer for nine months at a time so they move from one company to another to maintain employment.

They decided to move production back to Mexico for consistent workforce, but they implemented the two tier labor agreement new hires, get benefits reductions from the older employees.

Those older employees are phased out in favor of the new people who work for cheap
GOVERNMENT WARNING: Marijuana use can cause complex thoughts leading to better ideas of how to live your life. Caution, free thinking has been routinely reported with continued use.

After reading the book, I have less doubts about Milei of Argentina being either complicate or duped by the US/IMF in his recent election and plans to rebuild Argentina's economy.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/ar ... d3c3&ei=27

it could easily be another chapter in the EHM book.

I haven't researched much more about the guy, than I've posted here. In the Milei thread.
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=14615
I know he studied economics but I don't know where, he love's Israel, and claims to be a libertarian.
I've not gone much further into it, except, I have noted he seems to contradict his goals by re-alignment with the US and the dollar.
When I was reading Confessions of an EHM, the chapters on Ecuador reminded me of Milei. He knows the game and is complicit because he knows the currency will flow back to Argentina. It will work in the short term, but fade quickly as the money returns to the US
