Civil War in Russia

Post by dill786 »

well, i think it finally dawned on him that he and his soldiers would have been known as traitors to the motherland, soldiers who sold out to the West soldiers who brought down Russia, and their children and their parents' cousins and relatives would have to live with the fact they have traitors in the family a really colossal burden, and nobody can live like that apart from guy burgess and Anthony blunt :)

it doesn't make sense why he would do something like this surely he isn't a stupid man and would know of the long-term consequences for himself, seems really fishy and a deliberate orchestrated move like a false flag operation to confuse NATO

Civil War in Russia

He obviously did it because he thought he had the support. There was apparently a lot of support from the local population when they took Rostov and Voronezh. The Russian people know Putin and his cronies are corrupt. The man on the street lives in fear of being drafted and the families live in fear of their menfolk coming home in pine boxes. All for a war that has brought no benefit to the average Russian and is putting their economy (and military) further and further behind the west.

Are revolutionaries traitors? Well of course they are. In the beginning. Then they become heroes.

Turns out Prigozhin was no revolutionary. And no hero.

the intolerance of the old order is emerging from the rosy mist in which it has hitherto been obscured.

Probably wouldn’t be as hard as you’d think? A couple cases of Popov and maybe a box of Cohibas?

the idea with revolutionaries is always that the man on the street; particularly the cops and soldiers,
will have such sympathy with the revolts side that they stand down at their jobs at the instance the law tells them their supposed to fight.

its actually a noble positions, agreeing to accept the judgement of the average citizens in the act they are perpetrating.

some sources say the average russian showed such alignment with these contractors that they demonstrated the win which didnt necessitate going through with it.

that a properly scorned kremlin is a better outcome than the crap shoot of what happens next had they gone throught with it.
the intolerance of the old order is emerging from the rosy mist in which it has hitherto been obscured.
