Light measurements and ideal ranges

800-900 PPFD for indicas and hybrids, up to 1000PPFD for sativas. But it depends on the spectrum. The more blue, the lower the PPFD. The more red, the higher the plant can handle.

My first grow I had a basement with flouresent lights in the ceiling . put my seeds on top of book cabinets . raised the plants up. no internet no over grow nothing. just learning. .. next grow took them sprouts under neath the basement stairway...
