man the 2by material we use mostly for framing is for shit anymore
we stack it flat but it still twists up on us within weeks

needs to be installed and fastened for it to hold anywhere near straight and true

on big jobs the lumber comes in bunks wrapped in plastic
on occasion a board will be so determined to warp that it bursts the plastic and is hanging out
