I'm having trouble finding those reports or videos. Clashes between the police and protestors yes, ive seen, but that is not uncommon here or in any of the many other countries protesting draconian covid regulations. In the George Floyd and 1/6 protests, you could see it plain as day in almost any news report. Buildings on fire, looting, people being dragged from their vehicles etc.
We also had agent provocateurs adding fuel to the flames as evident in several videos.

BTW, you do know that part of the video you posted had nothing to do with the Melbourne riots and was historical footage of police brutality originally posted by the media.

was what I googled hoping to find something to justify military vehicles and throwing old ladies down to the ground, and then macing them while they were down. (shameful)

Any footage of police brutality added by the editor of the video I posted, is irrelevant since it was not needed to convince anyone of the excessive use of force. Besides that, the video was primarily showing that "human rights" speech, was as usual coming from a politicians mouth, but is usually never what you witness in reality. In any country not just yours.

I imagine that this same scenario will be playing out here sooner than later.

I live in Florida, and our governor is fighting mandates for the people. New York on the other hand has riled the BLM movement, which already has shown fractures in the Dem's united front.

The world is a mess right now, and although Covid is the battle, the war has been raging for years between the globalist and nationalist movements.
U.S. folk think it's a Dem / Rep conflict, but standing back and observing, it's pretty much the same principles at play.

Glad you live away from all that noise, but don't let them turn your home back into a penal colony.

Tucker's right about a lot of things, but of course there's also a lot of missing context. I live here, so I'm obviously familiar with most of these events.

What the Federal Government did to the ABC – or "Aunty" as we call our national broadcaster (because we all love her!) – was criminal. Despite what Tucker said, there was a huge national backlash over this – most Australians did not support the move.

Now, one thing most Americans don't realise about Australia is that the major conservative party here is called the "Liberal Party". The name is reflective of its economic policies, not its social policies. Indeed, the current prime minister is a prominent member of the Hillsong Church, the defence minister is a hard-right former policeman(!), and the party is mostly controlled by the right faction (that is, the right side of the right side of politics – the far right religious bloc).

Would it surprise you to learn that the freest parts of Australia are currently governed by socialist governments (the centre-left Labor Party)?

There are four right-wing governments in Australia: NSW (where corrupt Gladys just resigned, and where the ABC raid was conducted); Tasmania (no-one cares much about Tasmania because it's soo small and poor); South Australia (a slightly bigger version of Tasmania); and the Federal Government – purveyors of some of the worst rights abuses we have seen in this country in recent history.

The problem is, the Federal Labor Party is also corrupt. They thought they were a shoe-in for the last election, but lost to the conservatives because of their corrupt, cluster-fuck leader (it's a long story).

So things are not all chocolates and roses in the Land of Oz.

But to say we are "unarmed" is also wrong: there are more registered guns in Australia now than there were before the buy-back. I own five firearms and shoot almost every week – I'll be shooting this weekend, on both days, and I shot all last weekend as well. I love guns and I love shooting. I would love to show you my collection. I have the option to purchase and own semi-automatic pistols, but I choose not to because it's just another calibre to reload and I spend enough time reloading my .223 and 6.5 Creedmoor. I can't justify owning a .357 or 9mm, but a lot of my friends own them.

I don't know why the liberals here went full police state when it was always the Republicans that were seen in that light. It's hard to tell the parties apart anymore. The vaccine mistrust here has alot to do with their goals of transhumanism and 4th industrial age, coupled with how they sprung on covid to use as the trigger for the great reset, suspicion grew fast.
HG Wells " Things to Come" captures the concept quite well. You laugh when I bring up the freemasons, but their Great Work is not far from Klaus Schuab's tenets. (Perfect man through science and philanthropy).
