Days later, a retaliatory strike comes back at us...military says from Iraqi militias, same ones that hit us before. Media reports source as Iranian backed militias, despite the military saying otherwise. Couple more days, Israel ramps up it's offensive on Syria with more airstrikes. Biden prepares to send more unauthorized troops into Syria...to stand with the likes of al qaeda, ISIS, and al-nusra.
Meanwhile, in Afghanistan, the Taliban are gearing up for their own tet offensive if we do not honor our agreement to leave in May.
...and evidently, after campaigning that he would hold MBS accountable for having Khashoggi assassinated, Biden has decided not to.

Yes a win for the country, it puts the power of Waging War back to Congress as the Constitution intends. It started eroding somewhere in 1970s No more of these war crimes, by a lone wolf president, since.. since Clinton at least.

You want Biden to have, or any president to have , unilateral military strikes powers, in the nuclear age.

What in the world would ever make you think that would come to fruition?

Because I can think of a few reasons why it won't...
- Every president since Truman has committed war crimes...have ANY of them EVER been held accountable?
- The Patriot Act could have NOT been renewed by congress many times over...yet it ALWAYS passes overwhelmingly.
- Congress, at any time, could stop foreign military action, by simply pulling the purse strings shut...but in every NDAA renewal they ALWAYS give more funding.
- Biden appointed, and the senate approved...Tony 'bombs before diplomacy' Blinken as Sec of State, Avril 'fuck the law' Haines as Dir of National Intelligence, and Lloyd 'Raytheon' Austin as Sec of Defense.

Remember the "talk" of prying the nuclear codes from Trump's tiny hands...did that ever happen?
