Not only did they rule that her orders lack authority, but that they are unconstitutional as well.

In reality, it probably won't change much....except put that authority back in the legislative branch, where it belongs.

when candidate Trump finally got the virus, he changed from reckless disregard to feeling armed and dangerous.
He knows he's losing, a cornerd diseased animal is Dangerous.

He knew he was infectious on the first on the first debate with candidate Biden. He knew he was infectious when he met with Pence before the VP debates.

When Whitmer created criminal laws without any authority to do so, the state's sheriff association publically announced they would not enforce them because they were unlawful...yet she continued to do it. When the state supreme court struck down the orders as unconstitutional, Whitmer announced on the same day, that the orders would stay in effect...and that she would find other methods of imposing criminal penalties without the legislature's approval. The following day, the state's AG had to announce her office would no longer enforce the governor's orders. Now the state's directors of DHHS and MIOSHA have given press announcements that their departments will continue to enforce the unconstitutional criminal laws, without holding the public hearings required for them to enact policy...in direct violation of the court's ruling.

We have a governor and two department heads, that are defying law enforcement, prosecuters, and the court. When the executive branch takes action against the will of the legislative and judicial branchs...that's called tyranny, plain and simple. There are no rationalizations to justify this behavior...it is wrong, period.

So when the pitchforks come out, why is anyone surprised? As citizens, we have a duty to remove tyrants. Granted, kidnapping is terrible methodology, but I can certainly understand their motivation. People can only be pushed so far, before they start pushing back...and the way they push back might not be in a fashion that's expected.

if the executive felt theyre remedies were so important that they supersede proscribed civil law then they should declare martial law in order to proceed with what the believe is doing the right thing

oh and btw, martial law isnt all or nothing.
martial law has levels of power over civil and what we think of as martial law in fact refers to greater degrees of its power in stage than what is possible...

Naw, I'm in the right place...this is all aboot the governor's abuse of power concerning her covid related executive orders. Take a look at the pics of those arrested...now go look at the videos and pics from the protests at the state capital that happened months ago. Remember the gun toting citizens that were in a confrontation with state police in the capital building, yelling at them? I think you will find some of these fellas there as well. The FBI has known aboot these guys for months...long enough for them to inbed a CI and two agents into the group. Whitmer herself says she has known aboot this specific plot for weeks. Isn't it odd how it's always the inbedded FBI agent that suggests to the group to use explosives, and agrees to provide them? How else are they going to anchor in the "terrorist" charges? This is not as clear cut as the news would have you believe...there are bad people on both sides.

About coronavirus,
The governor would have been negligent by not taking control of a situation, let the courts sort it out later. SOP. There was a deadly epidemic raging throughout the country, Federal wasn't taking leadership. The legislators role isn't leadership. The governor's role is. And when time is important...

About the politics.
There is a difference between legal/illegal and right/wrong.

Wait, didn't you just post the system/courts did work. The bad people are the underground militia. Fuckin eh! Innocent people were going to get killed, maimed and families destroyed.

And all the governor wanted people to to do is distance and wear a mask? Following the established well-known and documented science? Bad people??
