Five authors I believe . what I also notice how often their previous papers were cited in other works. Implying their working and building on a proven solid foundation. In USA,
3 straight days of new cases dropping
4 straight days of new deaths dropping.

In California daily deaths have fallen exponentially in the last 3 days!

MI's new cases peaked back on April 3rd, over 6 weeks ago...deaths peaked on April 21st, 4 weeks ago.

If I'm remembering correctly, Fauci had advised 2 weeks of declining numbers to flatten the curve, which was the goal of the quarantine. Did I miss something?...has the goal post been moved?

MI has been divided into 8 regions, each will have different rules and dates for re-opening. Two of the regions can start partial re-openings on Friday. Both had very little numbers to begin with. My county will be in the last group to re-open...we got lumped in with Detroit.

From my understanding, Blackrock steak houses have already re-opened @ 25% capacity...maybe they got special treatment?

The barber who re-opened, won his case against the state in court...so the state revoked his license. Now barber shops and salons all over the state are re-opening, in a show of support.

Most folks I know haven't exactly complied with the lock down anyways. Many non-essential businesses have simply hidden their business activity...folks that can still get work are still working...and those out of work with nothing to do are still out and aboot...not to mention the lack of use of 'required' face masks. And this weekend is Memorial Day...I bet we all follow the governor's orders though.

Shit! USA, new cases and deaths started back up. Appears back to the same oscillating curveCalifornia also picked up both counts and appears back to oscillating too.
The only good thing I can say is the averages are on a slight decline curve.

Mlive.com ...it's just the website compilation of all the state's newspapers. Each day they have an update, usually with multiple graphs...new cases, running 7 day average of new cases, new deaths, total cases, deaths, and recoveries, and a map with total cases and deaths for each county. Occasionally they include other demographics like age, gender, and race breakdowns. And if there are external reasons for spikes in either direction, they report those too...like new testing availability, or backlogged totals coming through.

California after four days straight daily death count plummeting, yesterday was the biggest Spike ever. Shit.

USA back up to the average of 1500 deaths a today.
For perspective normal average daily death rate in the USA is between 5000 -7000. ( depending who's data you use )
Covid-19 has now become the leading cause of death in the US in April.

Not sure I know the White House rejected CDC guidelines as two lengthy which CDC submitted with postcard guidelines. Don't know what's official or what's in them? Afraid to look

I've just been paying attention to the West Coast coalition guidelines, still going with the two weeks CDC decline.

Michigan has a good two weeks of decline on the top. Right?

Silver Lining if there is one that this really has been up to the will/action of people. Almost restored my faith in rational humanity.
