Dems will not nominate a racist republican. Mike's been using his "philanthropy" to lay out the ground work for his presidential bid for the last 20 years. Folks are much more receptive of a compassionate jew over a conniving jew.
Looks like NV is gearing up to be an even bigger shit show than IA.
More ties between Pete and the CIA have been exposed.
All of the campaigns have been begging Yang to join them...even Obama has called Yang in an attempt to influence him. Though he tries to conceal which candidate he favors, it's pretty obvious he leans toward Sanders.
Even though Bernie won the first two states, and leads national polls by 10 points, MSNBC still doesn't understand why people think he's the front runner......morons.

Well it looks like Iowa IS doing some adjustments. SDE totals are now...
563.207 - Pete
563.127 - Bernie
...Pete still leads by .08 SDEs, so the IDP is still awarding him with 2 more national delegates than Bernie. However, there are still 12 more precincts the Sanders campaign is requesting recounts in, so that might yet change.
Bernie has a 19 point lead in NV polls (12 points nationally)....Amy isn't even close to viable. And after her interview with Telemundo, I can see why. Even after voting in favor of the disastrous USMCA trade bill, she literally knew nothing aboot Mexican president Obrador...not even his name.
NV debate tonight...six candidates have made the cut under the DNC's 'new' rules...we'll see if Mike even participates. If he does, we will see which of the other candidates (if any) he's been "philanthropical" with. I would expect any candidate not beholden to Mike, will be coming knives out.
A lot of folks think Mike shouldn't be in the race, citing...
...the $400 million in ad buys, and the revenue influence that has on the media outlets that benefit.
...the staff salaries and consultant fees he pays, that are almost double what the other campains pay.
...and the $10+ billion Mike's spent in the last few years, helping other politicians, to garner their support.
I like that he's running.....for those very same reasons. It shows us which media outlets not to trust...it drains the corruptable staffers and consultants from the other campaigns...and it reveals politicians that we need to remove.

Boy did I get that wrong.Butcher Bob wrote:I think NV could be close between Sanders and Klobuchar. Bernie still has a small lead in the polls, but Amy has been having a decent surge.

To his credit, Mike showed up...
...and now he's dead.
Liz came with knives...lots of them. By far the best performer in the debate, she eviscerated Mike...several times. She came off as more authentic this debate. Mike's presence gave her ample opportunity to speak on subjects she is both knowledgeable and passionate aboot.
Bernie and Joe brought bats...as if Mike didn't already have enough of a problem, bleeding all over the place. Joe wailed away on 'stop and frisk', and avoided having his crime bill mentioned. Mike stabbed Bernie with 'socialism', then Bernie beat the fuk out of him over capitalist socialism vs democratic socialism.
Even the kids at the end got some kicks in. But Pete came off just as rehearsed and empty as always...and poor Amy just wants to be a comedian.
But the most telling moment of the debate was when the moderater asked all the candidates...
If, at the national convention, no candidate had a simple majority (50%+1), only a plurality, should the popular vote be honored in selecting the nominee?...or should the 'rules' the DNC sets, stand?
Bernie was the only candidate to support the will of the people.

Warren won the night, her attack on Bloomberg, her quoting his toxic misogyny, literally throwing it in his face, and asking him to release his victims from their NDAs, was magnificent. I hope her and Bernie can come to some sort of arrangement. Combined, they can scupper the planned "brokered convention" electoral theft and actually change the toxic American political culture.

Another dynamic I noticed could be termed as the 'senator's club' effect, Joe included. At some point...each senator was defended by another senator...and each senator defended another senator. At no point do I recall anyone coming to Pete's defense, and certainly not to Mike's.
I also notice the media haven't even mentioned Gabbard or Steyer....not the main stream, not the alternative, not the independent, nobody....kind of erie feeling.

The NV caucus is today...will it be rigged like IA?
A couple points to consider...
The Shadow app didn't start development until a couple months prior to the IA caucus date...NV had also planned to use that app. After the IA caucus was held, due to the media shit show the app's 'errors' caused, NV scrambled to get a different app. During a televised interview, Perez was confronted with the fact that NV caucus volunteers were complaining aboot receiving inadequate or no training, and was asked if he had received training. His answer: Yes...3 or 4 months ago. That, is unbelievable foresight.
The NSDP has found a way to prevent a repeat shit show in the media. CNN reported yesterday that the NSDP is requiring caucus workers and volunteers to sign NDAs. Specifically they are prohibited from discussing anything that could be construed as relating to the NSDP in any way...additionally they are specifically prohibited from speaking to the press (media). Transparency at it's finest.
On the national level...
Mike has been exposed for contacting super delegates, to remind them of how much money he has sent, or can send, their way.
