i noticed a while back some nicely priced stills on amazon.
i have lots of fruit trees. never seem to eat all the plums.
so someday if i buy a apple press i can press them also.
buy a still and vola brandy.

funny thinking back so simple.
55 gal wood barrels could use plastic ones now.
fill barrel almost full with dried corn. add 20 lbs of sugar
add a 6 pack of schlitz malt liquor. fill to top with water.
top off with water 2 hours later. warm room little over a
week later you have sour mash. then run thru still..

It's an open system, so no chance of explosion. I'd need to add a thumper box for that to occur. Thumper boxes were used to help with wood burning stills. The heat was difficult to regulate, so they used the a 2nd box with liqour in it. the Thumping would be the bubbles of vapor from the still coming out of the lower outlet in the box. THis however closes the system allowing for pressure to build.... which is why you add a slop box.... My shit is safe. and clean. no hangover, pure blue flame.. just good likker. Irwin smokes good shit and drinks fine likker.

When you live in a tin can in the swamp, heat can cause so many negs..
IMAG1389.jpg

..So I gave the grow space an upgrade.. to a 1000w full spectrum LED and boy if it grows as impressively as it's ease of use, and value pricing, I will also be expanding my grow area to a three or four lamp operation.. the light pulls a mere 150w bulb power draw, so it should pay for itself over a years time. . it was less than 140$us.. I paid 200 for the 400w hps it is replacing.

I also eliminated the large pump and opted for a small fountain pump .. again for heat reduction. The plant is now stressed out from being moved around, but I did a get needed nutrient refresh.. and the temps are down well over 8 F. Still too warm for my liking, I need to cool the rez some how... but I tidied up and the grow looks perty noice.

how can it be a 1000 watt armature when it only draws 150 watts

considering thats a cheapo chinese led thingy, it will replace a 200 watt HPS system

sorry that you fell for false marketing

here is a true 215 watt SAN LED

https://www.grow-shop24.de/sanlight-q6w ... rgEALw_wcB

just for comparison

:)

to replace a 400 hps system, it should draw 300 watts out of the wall

this system is similiar to prawns system :

Don't be Jelly, save up some dough and you can get one too.
The plant is vigourous and healthy , the light is sufficient.

I’m not part of this, but would like to say a light sufficient for healthy fast veg isn’t always sufficient for flower.

Nice looking plant, I wouldn’t worry at all.

For the price, these lights are certainly worth try. They claim full spectrum, and are as bright as as any HD bulb i've used. I didn't throw out my old light, so if this light doesn't produce, I can rewind. But heat being the main battle in my climate, this light has dropped temps considerably. Worst case scenario, I have a nice nursery light.
The LED science is all voodoo to me, but I know it is new and changing, to be more efficient and affordable. I really hope it pans out so I can expand my operation to keep up with my consumption. I remember my first grows used a 1000 w MH in a bathtub space with 3 plants going and I had more shit than I could smoke. I was going to buy another one of those to put back in the closet area, and saw these while shopping. I figured they were worth a look. So Far So Good.

I would never use more than one per plant though, the peripheral light is weak so your light space is limited to about 3x3 max,

Some guy gave me four grow bulbs I think they're like 13 watt LED equivalent to 90 Watts
15685004754311666722098.jpg

It's a Gorilla Glue germinating in rockwool cubes
whatever so I'm moving the plant back to the closet where I can keep it cooler and I'm going to use the front cabinet for vegging are we going to veg in the kitchen flour in the bedroom

DK Wan 6 days under 12/12 12
I also put in a decent pond pump to circulate the nutes. Most of the roots are in the fountain area, and some grow down into the rez. Looking happy and getting sexy hairs appearing.
