I grew some purple romaine that was really nice so I am leaving the last one to go to seed. This heatwave made them bolt so I am filling up on greens and starting the next batch.

I’m getting about three eggs a day now.
Now I need to learn how to harvest olives, I planted four trees over the last two years and am about to plant 5-6 more.
I’m going to start making walnut and olive oil.

Cuttings bear fruit pretty quick...the two I bought this year had olives on them already.

I think the press youd use to extract from apples would do double duty with olives but
as I recall theres something you do to them first
sorry
been a while since I read up on it

You need to mill them first.
Walnuts seem easier to make oil from.

I thought you had to brine them as well
mabe that when your just going to eat them
seemed exhaustive
but fuck those wallnuts
