Yeah i had 6 sections, 5 resupplies. the shortest was a week, Two were 14 days Whew! i'm getting too old for that kinda weight. Thank Gawd weed is just a few ounces.
but it wasn't all high country, the first week was in the Joshua and pinion trees on BLM land. and a week after the great western divide was on the lower forest trails, least traveled routes though Sequoia. the trail out of Monache(sp?) Mdw clearly had not seen use for a good decade(s). cherry! on the flip side for the 5-6 days on the John Muir trail i saw no less then 60 people a day. on the plus side, a lot of' 'em were soloing trail chicks. Sweet

I had a minor resupply at Cedar Grove in Kings Canyon NP. a day after i left it was evacuated from the big Rough fire, and the next day the lodge burnt to the ground. Sad. Whew that was close!!
