if i did a chambered ntf or dwc grow
id cut a couple pieces of foil backed foamboard insulation
which would fit around the plants base and divide the chamber into seperate
solution and plant area´s

Never thought about that, but if I recall the pump operates in or out of the tank. May be put. It remote to rez

yeah thats good if you can put it outside the tank ...

during winter times i used a small pump instead of an airpump + airstone to mix and pre-heat the solution, was a small pump 13 watts or so, just to mix up the nutes ... and while water was cold 10-12 C out of the sink, the small pump heated up the "small" rez ( 60 liters) nicely to 28 C , when working 24/7, so i actually put a timer infront of it and by proper timing i had the solution at 22 C

its eazy with an rez thats only used for dtw .. but with your circulating system, you need to become creativ

either pump outside of the tank, or a second tank which is only used for cooling the first rez, without direct interaction

like put a prerolled water hose into your tank, this hose is connected to the second tank (which is outside) and by circulating the water (or even salt water) you get a cooling hose .. same principle as a destilling bridge ^^

The pump arrived and will have to be utilized for another application, something larger. I guess it's safe to assume an impeller pump does not produce the psi required for a proper mist .... from a 1/4 inch tube. Taking into account Ben's idea of pvc, and the known principle of water pressure(increasing pressure through downsizing run to escape outlet), I think that if I upsize the tubing to 5/8 and then hard plumb pvc and micro drill some holes, the pressure may be substantial enough to at least get a decent sprinkle.
But I'm too far into this grow to fuck with it, I'm going to use the existing materials for a drip system.
The one plant already up and at em is "Critical" from feminizedseeds.co.uk
It's my first autoflower, and I will just leave the lighting cycle on 14/10 to veg an "ICE" seed that I would like to use as a mom.
I have some other seeds coming up

I understand that concept, but an nsf drip system should accomplish oxygenation naturally throughout circulation cycle.
My concern now is perhaps an air circulator into the root chamber. Blowing cooler air through

So i was waiting on a pizza delivery, and was thinking about the setup, and decided that the 1/4 inch tubing which was even more restrictive at the T unions was not allowing enough flow. I took a longer peice of 5/8 tubing and closed off the end not connected to the pump, drilled in some small holes with a 1/16 drill bit, and now i have a make shift sprinkler inside the root chamber.
