that i used for a couple jobs

gotta have clean floors
Go to a pawn shop and you can get a used pair for like $150. And yes you are correct they are useful for all kinds of things. Not just drywall.

Do not buy any other type than Dura stilts. There are some real shit versions put out. Back in the day of shoe jax stilts they were all shitty.

ever seen or used these???

man o man,
some of the most dangerous work i ever did was using these
back before the internet i used these for a couple years at the behest of an employer
never even saw the manual

even this manufactures video shows one grave error in construction of the 2x4 poles you suppliment the hardware with

we would grossly overload their capacity lifting window-pak's to second and third floor cutouts

jeez

the rule was "dont fuck up"

id driven to colorado
with a wad of money

lived it up for about 5 months
then getting low
took the first job i was offered

told the 'boss' how much i wanted an hour

he just laugh'd
said even he wasnt making that much
and he wasnt

started me at 9
but i was making 12 inside a month

youd be suprised how many framers cant do math

the springs was a boom town then
hundreds of foundations waiting for framers

i couldnt believe we were getting paid so little
while at the same time being so in demand

the big bosses just hung out a price to frame and side a house
take it or leave it

im ashamed of myself for lasting almost a year

I just bought my first torque wrench. Yes its cheap. I'm rebuilding a 1985 Kawasaki Vulcan 700.

Hopefully, will do the job.
